unsuitable for use as a grinder since it does not have a protective shroud and its shaft is too long for its purpose. is well suited for use as a buffer and polisher because of the space provided A 3/4" arbor and a 3/4 HP motor were all that I could find I never saw a 3/4" arbor. While there is a risk of bogging the motor down if you rub too hard on the polishing wheel, the polishing wheel is not designed for anything but buffing and polishing that requires only a light
I just finished a set of Aluminum Valve Covers, they did not bog down at all!
A simple on and off button is all that's needed You can now turn it on. It is not possible to control the speed.
There is a 7” length between the wheel center and the motor housing, which will center at 6"

When the motor arrived, the only function that worked was the fast speed. Found that one of the motor leads did not connect to the speed switch when I opened the unit. The switch that was shipped with the unit was a 6 pole, 3 throw switch. We looked at the print in an attempt to find which terminal it was supposed to be landed on. It appears in the print that the switch needs to be an 8 pole three throw to be able to wire both sets of windings About this, I tried contacting the manufacturer, but they did not contact me back. There is a type of switch I need to locate and buy and a 50mF capacitor I need to add. With an item costing almost $300, this is the type of quality control issue you should not have. I just updated By getting a 8 pole 3 throw switch and installing it, I was able to get the unit to work. A Allen Bradley 800T-based solution was used With a J2 switch and four contact blocks, a foot of long wire, a few nuts, and vinyl tape, this project is easy and inexpensive. Cut a 1 for the hole. To accommodate the switch, a 25" hole must be drilled. I had to add a jumper between terminals 6 and 2 (as shown in the attached document). Even after all of the parts are put back together, it is tight, but it functions perfectly As opposed to the print showing 6 leads on the motor (no brown wire), the motor they send with this unit only features 5 leads. Here is what I sketched on the schematic for the actual To make sure that others do not run into the same problem, it has been attached to this review.
I'm very happy with it. Honestly, I looked at a lot of buffers before buying this one, and most of them were much cheaper. It's a great device, and I'm glad I invested in the 1hp version for the extra money. Exceptionally well-built, plenty of power with separate switch for power and speed. Overall, a very sturdy unit. The Hi/Lo selector on this unit is sufficient for the purpose I had in mind, as I was looking for a continuously variable speed unit. I received it well packed with good instructions for how to put Comes with 2 wheels, so the only thing you need to purchase is the As a complement, I paired this grinder with this pedestal The casters are as follows The MySit 2" Wheels with Brake Locks (Threaded Stem Bolt M10x25), High Quality Heavy Duty Swivel Stem Brake Caster Wheels With Hardware Nuts are designed for carts and trolleys. The Set of 4 consists of 4 pieces. Despite their instability, they work great, were a tremendous value, and very stable. This means that there will be 250 people in total My full solution is all in one place, which I can roll to the spot where I need it, and put away when I'm not using Thank you so much for the purchase. I am really pleased with my.
It's okay, I hit the wrong button before and it went back to where it should have been. In any case, let me just say that I enjoy it so much that I typed this twice. I own a metal shop and have done Throughout the course of my career, my equipment has been upgraded. Here is the one I ordered, it arrived on time and was well packaged This is a nice 1/2 or 3/4 HP. If you're looking for 1/2 or 3/4 HP, let's not waste our time anymore. Those who lug out anyway just lug out. As a result, its life is shortened. Power is in the hands of this one. I really like the way it's made and how quiet it runs. Since I liked it so much, I am buying another one for wire wheeling online now. There's not much to complain about when it comes to the price. The one I have has been working perfectly for almost a year. Those of you who don't know what you can do are advised to do the following Install the bolts through the base of the tower, but do not tighten them. Before you tighten them, put a nylon nut on the bolt so that it does not move. When the bolt and nut are set, they should not move or rattle. This machine needs to be anchored since it does have some power to it, and it just makes sense to anchor it. Keeping the rubber feet in good shape will ensure it runs perfectly quiet and smooth - don't squeeze them or compress them and it will run very quietly. I think this is the case for all grinders.
This machine has wheels on the end that rotate. It costs more than $3,500 for some of these machines. It looks like the grinding wheels and polishing wheels on the end would cost much more and take a water purification system, but come on! Are we going to spend $3300 more? Comparing the price of this product with what other companies charge for a similar designed concept, it's an exceptional purchase. There is an engine in the At the end, there is a spinning disc. This is a valuable purchase even just for the one HP motor.
I bought it a few days ago to replace an older "made at home" set-up I used for many With the wire wheel on one end and the flapper sanding wheel on the other end, I was able to get a perfect fit. It is also possible for me to use polishing wheels occasionally. A polishing wheel and a cutting wheel are included. A small work area around the wheels gives this machine an advantage over my homemade grinder or a regular grinder. With a shaft length of about 26 inches without the tapered tip, and about 30 inches with it, this is a fairly large and heavy machine, which will require a good bit of bench space and a sturdy workbench to get the most out of it. I usually use the slower 1725 rpm speed, so the fact that this product has two speeds is a big selling point for me. There are a lot of lessor machines that are only 3450. With the on/off rocker switch conveniently located next to the speed switch, the speed switch sits in the center of the dashboard. Despite the fact that it is made in China (of course), it seems to be a very well-made and great machine. It runs very smoothly and without any Since I've already gotten a lot of use out of it- Most of the time it's the wire wheels. Using them is the best way to remove rust and slag from metals. It uses 3/4" shafts rather than the more common 5/8" or even smaller, so it's a little harder to find wire wheels and flapper wheels, but they last a really long time. I got these on Amazon It's the same order as before. Several nuts, spacers, and flanges are included to secure them on the axle. You don't have to use jam nuts to keep the left side from spinning loose since the left end has left hand threads.
