I have used orbital buffers that are available at local mechanic shops and even the $120 Porter Cable one that I bought at I was a bit nervous to go from a black show car that often appears in indoor conventions to a rotary buffer because I am used to black cars. I expected things to be different, but it never happened that way. I bought it because its price was right, and I was willing to take a chance. This buffer is exactly what I needed! I am thrilled with it! The bottom line is that it is easy to use and does a great I find it a bit heavy, but otherwise it has a very comfortable feel to it. I thought the rubber covered handles were a cute idea, but they looked cheap anyway. The scratches, water stains, and swirls have been removed.
