An item that is a clone of the 12mm long throw DA polisher by Rupes but with a 10mm throw. It's probably the same factory overseas that manufactures them all for different distributors who rebrand them under their own brands. With its heavy design and powerful motor, it's well built and durable. My guess is that it throws somewhere between 8 and 10 inches It appears that this tool is described differently on the internet and on the packaging. Still, this is a pretty good size stroke for a small DA tool. However, it falls short of the actual Rupes, which has a true 12mm long throw that will better correct defects. It has performed well, corrected well, and finished well over a few hours of use. The need for a small tool like this is very pressing when working with edges We specialize in work involving corners, concave/complex curves, narrow areas, and tight spaces. Despite the fact that they are included, the foam pads are actually very Despite the weather, I expect the jacket to hold up quite Based on the MSRP of the tool it was developed to replicate, it is an excellent value. Despite having great prices for good products, SPTA is becoming increasingly well known as a brand out of China. All in all, very happy with the outcome and saved me a lot of money over what I had expected. For a pro, you'll want the real deal (LHR 75E) because of its longevity and warranty support. I use speed 6 (max) for compounding due to its shorter throw, but it cuts very well with coarse foam pad. In order to finish, I use either speed 4 or 5. If you don't want to damage your ears, wear earplugs.
In the description, it says that it has a throw of 12mm or 10mm, but I was not sure which one it was. When it came in the box, I realized it was a 9mm throw which is not what I had purchased, nor what was listed, and therefore why I gave it The advertisement was poor and I did not receive what I expected. After reviewing performance, I will update this post.
My opinion is that the buffer works pretty One of the reasons I gave it three stars was because it's extremely irritating to use the ON switch. This is a very odd design that is very difficult to use (when it is turned The procedure for turning it off is very simple - just click on the button. By clicking the tab, you will be able to access the menu. The switch must be pressed down on the back of the switch, and pushed forward (sliding). The problem is that it is tricky to do since your thumb usually just slides on the switch instead of pushing it.
Although the on/off switch is annoying to use, the on/off button is too complex to operate. Despite its effectiveness, this is a weak system.
My intended purchase was a new one, but the one I received appears to be used. I'm not looking forward to this!.
A 3 inch pad seems to be a good size for me. Because my car is shaped in many small curves, this 3 inch size is ideal for fitting into these spaces. Due to my arthritis, I find the switch to be a little difficult to use, but overall the machine is great.
Among other things, it comes with sand paper that can be used to remove scratches before polishing is done. These parts were able to be polished to a mirror/chrome finish with the polishing compound. clearly see the difference between the polished and unpolished sections of the swing arm in the picture. It has an adjustable speed and is very easy to work with. Thanks for selling it to me.
The pad that comes with it works great as well, as well as the polisher does have some weight to it, but I really like it a lot. It's a great value for the money, and I plan on ordering more pads soon.
