I recommend working with 120 volts/60 Hz.
This may have been a 3" model only when I purchased it. Neither a 6" or 9" pad is available. Although it is not very powerful, it is still a great polisher.
Our 3 inch polishing pads kit is the perfect choice for you.
In this unit, you can use standard DA backing plates that measure 5/16" in width and 3/32" in height. It takes 24 minutes.

It really surprises me how good this buffer is. The amount of content I expected couldn't be justified for the price. Although this thing is super cool and functional, it does have some serious flaws. A buffer that my brother purchased cost over $400 for his professional auto detailing business. Though it's smaller (which is what I wanted for my motorcycle), it does the exact same job as the bigger buffer. It will be interesting to see how it holds up but I have already used it to detail all 4 of my bikes and they came out amazingly.
did not want to look at my yellow headlights any longer, so I bought a random orbital polisher. Mostly because it was so affordable, I finally broke down. For about $10, I also had to buy an assorted pack of sending discs. The headlights of my car looked 20 years younger after just 20 minutes of work. Then I used 1000 grit, then 3000, then 5000. As a final touch, I attached a foam attachment and polished using it, followed by a layer of There is only one regret I have about not purchasing it.
The pads are thick enough that they do not overheat when used slowly. The ability to control speed makes getting the right amount of action (cutting or polishing) very easy.
Although the motor runs well, it is very loud, and its startup takes a long time. If the manufacturer had added a startup capacitor to this polisher, it would certainly be improved. Great for the price, just make sure you are going to use it a lot - if you plan on doing that,.
My original intent was to repair my headlights with this machine. I polished it with a compound and it did a great job. I'm going to use it for all of the car now. My FLEX 6 weighs just as much as this one, but is easier to use. It is 5".
The DA's have been fastened along with the cars by the purchase of two of them. Compared to it, the other machine from the big box hardware store is much quieter and is bigger in power. In addition to working very well, this machine is also liked by other users. The noise from this is like the sound of a bearing so neither of us wear ear protection, so we chose to return it, even though it worked The above*br*br*.
This polisher is a great little tool. This small, yet powerful, tool will not put out a lot of torque right away (probably to avoid breaking the small shaft on the pad adapter), but wait a second or two before applying light pressure to the lighted surface, and it will speed up and have an impressive amount of torque. When it gets rolling, you'll be able to do whatever you want. In fact, the orange pads are nothing more than cheap foam pads that are not suitable for cutting or polishing, but I did not get this product.
It is difficult to find accessories and back plates that fit the 3/16 inch spindle drive on this machine, despite the fact I like it for polishing and detailing my own vehicles.
