This is my first cordless planer, and I'm quite pleased with it. As I've moved from corded to cordless, I've acquired all of the other Ryobi tools. br>I was surprised by how powerful this tool was and how quickly it planed the doors. The depth gauge is simple to set up and operate, and it performed admirably. This is a light-duty tool that I use. It's only a matter of putting a battery in! Make use of the battery that has a lot of power. This is a fantastic tool that you will enjoy using.
As a burner, I purchased it. It's become my go-to now. Adapters for Dewalt and Ryobi were purchased. It screams to life when you slap a 6amp 20v into it! I've put it through the ringer. I'm putting the finishing touches on the doors and trim, and I'm really digging the directional exhaust ports. It has a solid feel to it. I'd buy another if I could get another year out of it.
Parts are missing from the open box. This feature is not available.
Excellent light-weight product.
A fantastic tool.
The interface is straightforward. The tool was used to trim down old doors so that they would fit properly in the frame. It's also useful for leveling warped wood's surface.
