Is there any way to adjust the shelf? Is it possible for you to raise it?

The bottom support has holes that can be positioned up and down and are flanged to hold a shelf. There is no shelf included.

I'm curious about the top's construction. ?

It appears to be laminated plywood, according to the manual and the JET website.

Is it possible to add caster wheels to this? If so, what is the diameter of the thread?

Yes. "Shaft diameter is 3/8" (M10/10mm)" is written on the JET casters.

This is a nice Flip Table

It does exactly what it says. On one side, I put an oscillating spindle sander, and on the other, a Rigid planer. I couldn't be more pleased. To make this table more portable, I added four 4-inch locking casters. I would have probably made my own out of plywood, but plywood prices have skyrocketed, and this was much less expensive and much quicker to put together! I'm very pleased with the outcome.
