The company does not stand behind their product; I've had issues with mine, and they have refused to send replacement parts. This is a complete waste of money. It's a waste of time.
Although the stand came without instructions, I had no trouble putting it together. Make a plan. assemble the puzzle pieces Begin putting the pieces together.
It's been about three weeks since I received mine. Although I haven't had any snipe, I have only planed down 2 1 in. Parts of a log It was a huge success. It would have been better if it had three blades, but it sufficed for my needs.
The planer came with a spare set of blades, which are one-sided.

I also found a source for rough-cut White Oak that had been used and stored outside, as shown in the photo I uploaded. This will enable me to accomplish a plethora of fantastic goals! I'm still looking for the replacement blade size; I won't know for sure until I need to replace the ones it came with, but I'll let you know as soon as I find out.
This planer works better than any other planer I've used before; it's easier to use and produces a better finish than the DeWalt, Porter Cable, Wen, and Powertec, and it's price class is super; it's a steal, and it even comes with a stand Wow.
My dust collection system is also compatible with it.
This planer appears to be identical to the Grizzly G0505 bench top planer, as mentioned in another review. I decided to give this guy a try because I have a Grizzly jointer and bandsaw. br>br>I'll confirm that this is the same planer after reading the Grizzly manual, but I'm hoping that the Grizzly offering is of higher quality (for their sake). br>br>The stand was missing four cross members right out of the box, so I couldn't put it together properly. I contacted the seller right away and requested that the missing components be sent to me. They responded within 60 minutes, stating that the stand parts could be shipped but would take several weeks to arrive (CoVid-). There are 19 issues in total. br>br>I made the decision to continue on and set up the planer. It's pretty much ready to use right out of the box, so there's not much to it. When I first used the height adjustment, I noticed some grinding, but I figured it was just a matter of moving it around to get the lubrication started. I guess I was mistaken because one side of the cutter head assembly seized and stopped moving around the 1 1/2 inch depth. br>br>I didn't even get a chance to run a test piece through the planer before an obvious flaw became apparent. I'm going to return it for a complete refund.
The first thing I noticed was that there were no assembly instructions included. I had never heard of a planer before. My son and I were finally able to figure out where everything went. It was an eye-opening experience, to say the least. I've only had this planer for a week, but it's performed admirably thus far. The tool has performed admirably in response to our requests. The only other flaw we discovered with this tool was that the knob for raising and lowering the blade was made of plastic, which broke off after a few uses. At the home improvement store, I found a suitable replacement. (It's made of wood in this case).
It's a fantastic little planner, in my opinion. I resurfaced an old deck with new cedar decking. And I was able to reclaim over half of the boards for bench seats and flower boxes thanks to this planner. This is a fantastic small planner. My wheels were fitted with locking hubs.
So far, I've only tested it on a scrap piece of wood, and it's smooth. 5mm off. The only issue, which is minor, is that one of the chip deflector wing nuts is not machined with the M5-sized threads. There are eight threads total. As I previously stated, this is a minor issue for which I will simply need to purchase a new wing nut.
There are many options available with this unit. You can use the provided frame or mount it on a table. In the event that it is not mounted, rubber feet are included. br>There are three options for dealing with saw dust. br>The most difficult part is putting the frame together without instructions. I had emailed the company and requested a video on how to change the saw dust adapters and operate the machine, but there was no information on how to put the frame together. br>Here are a few hints for you: br>1) the legs should be on the outside; br>2) the longer pieces should overlap the shorter pieces. br>3) You did well if the surfaces were parallel to the floor. Moreover, the bolts do not necessitate a great deal of torque. By slamming a box against one of the 10mm heads, I broke it. Using two fingers, tighten the end wrench. br>It is simple to resolve all of the negatives. br>br>Creative+ paraphrase: 12/5/2021br>br>First, be careful not to damage the small springs that hold the blade(s) up to you when you remove them. This shouldn't be an issue if you work on one blade at a time (as opposed to what I did). The clamping bar should be inserted first into the slot on the thick side of the head. br>br>Blades are 319mm x 18. 2mm x 3. 2 mm or 12 mm 56" x 0. 716" x 0.
