Yes, but the dust port attachment must be purchased separately.

Is the blade long enough to reach the edge? Is it possible to plane flush with the tool's edge?

Yes, the blade is as wide as the metal plate beneath the planer, but I'm going to get the Bosh planer because it allows you to change the dust direction;

DeWalt Reliability is a word that comes to mind when thinking of De I bought this planer to replace a makita that burned out after only a year of use, and I'm very happy with it

I've used it twice as much as the makita, and I'm very happy with it. I also like the fact that this planer has a small kickstand. For the price, this is a fantastic planer.

I purchased this planer in the hopes of getting a DEWALT, but I am completely disappointed because the cut is too low! Nothing like a Bosh or a Makita!.

Power Planer Dewalt D26676 - Held in one's hand This is a useful tool for me

Its portability is one of its best features. The lack of an exhaust and refuse attachment was a disappointment to me. I'll have to purchase it separately, and it'll be difficult to come by. The tool is easy to use and performs exactly as it should. Another thing I'd like to see is a much more defined blade depth adjustment. I don't always want to dig out 3/16 material; sometimes I just want to remove the surface of my work.

It is effective. When used with reasonable wood techniques, such as routers, it performs admirably. In soft woods, the power is adequate for full cuts. In oak, I have yet to try it. Although the carbide cutters are a plus, I'm disappointed (hence the missing 5th star) that it doesn't come with a chip collector bag and that you can only direct the discharge on one side.
