Thank you for reaching out to us with your query. The cordless planer's performance is comparable to that of our corded models. The corded units provide reliable power, while the cordless units are more portable. Our corded units have a higher RPM (16,500 vs 14,000) than our cordless counterparts. On the other hand, you can expect similar performance from a fully charged battery. Selected User Reviews For BOSCH Bare-Tool PLH181B 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless Planer
It's been nine months since I got it. I've used makita and Bosch corded planers, both of which have two blades versus the Bosch cordless planer, which only has one. In three basements, I laid out the studs. When combined with Bosch's Core18v 6, this cordless Bosch planer packs a punch. Although it has a 3ah battery, it will bog down if pushed too hard; however, no one would want to push a planerer that fast, and the finish it produces is finish grade.
I had high hopes for this little guy, but he far exceeded them. It only gets four stars because of the price and the flimsy guide. I'm leaving out the L- If I didn't include Boxx in this review, I'd give it a 3 out of 5. 5 stars. The box is fine, but the "exact fit" inserts are a little disappointing. br>br>I've started buying kaizan foam for these L-shaped mattresses. Boxxes. It's not cheap, but it's less expensive and more durable than the pick-and-pluck garbage. I've found that buying two 2x4 sheets for every three boxes is the cheapest way to go with foam. One sheet of 1 1/8 inch thick paper and one sheet of 2 1/4 inch thick paper The base should be thin, and the tool cutout should be thick. If you don't mind using split pieces of foam, two sheets could actually make four or five boxes.
I bought it to trim some used solid wood doors I had bought. It worked perfectly; all you had to do was connect a shop vac to the discharge to catch all the shavings.
For small, light-duty jobs, this tool is ideal. Although there is a learning curve, high-capacity batteries are highly recommended. spares.
Years ago, I should've bought it.
Plugs into vacuum and leaves no mess for you to clean up. It's ideal for renovation.
I bought this to shave some doors and it worked perfectly. This is an excellent resource.
to carpentry tools and implements! This is an excellent resource. Obtain it if you are a serious carpenter. br>As I have both, the cordless convenience is combined with the power of its corded sibling. This is what you need for those quick door hanging remodel jobs, such as fitting baseboards to uneven floors, casings to bad dogleg walls, and so on. Though a sharp block plane is nice, this is the tool to use if speed is important.
