My husband makes a living with his tools, and the results have exceeded his wildest dreams. WORKPRO 18-inch WORKPRO 18-inch WORKPRO 18-inch WORKPRO 18-inch WORKPRO 18-inch WORKPRO 18-inch The Gauge Pneumatic Brad Nailer is well-made, handles well, and is simple to operate. He's dropped it and banged it up a few times in the last two weeks, but he's still going strong. br>br>Suitable for 3/8" to 2" nails of any brand, he uses it to install door frames and crown molding, but it can also be used on upholstered furniture. br>br>Easy to use and light weight. The swivel on the air line is very convenient, and the air adjustment is simple to understand. br>br>This brad nailer is fantastic. It is comfortable to hold in my hand. It is not a large or bulky object. br>br>Excellent piece of equipment at an excellent price. It's a fun project to tackle on your own. br>br>Overall, I was very impressed with how well it handled the job and how quickly and easily it completed it. I will undoubtedly recommend it to others.
I followed the instructions to clean out the grease in the gun before the first use, set the compression to 90 psi, do some test nailing, and then use it on my project. It was my first time using a nail gun, and I found it to be simple to operate and without issues.
Using a fastener gun is a good idea. So, with everything else going on lately, we had to remodel one of our cabin's bedrooms for a variety of reasons, including mysterious cold air flow issues and rather hideous paneling/baseboards/trim that looked ancient. After a full demo, actual drywall was installed, and the room was painted. We started putting up the trim, baseboards, and casings. br>br>Went to use our brad nailer and discovered it had finally given up the ghost, and this isn't a job you want to try by hand. Since I wasn't going to pay the frankly ridiculous prices at the bigger stores, I turned to Amazon because this was a good price point and did everything we needed it to do. br>br>It worked great and I was able to load and change out a wide range of fastener sizes with ease. In comparison to a larger one we used for the previous remodel, it also left a very small indentation in the wood. With a little wood putty and paint, you won't be able to tell. It wasn't so light in the hand that you couldn't control it when using it. It has some weight to it, which you'll appreciate if you're doing baseboards and casing. Lol.
This item was delivered on time and in perfect condition. In the month or so that I've had it, I've used it numerous times. As far as 18 gauge pneumatic mailers go, it has never jammed or failed to shoot nails. Setting it up and loading it took only a few minutes. My gun responds well to Bostich nails. The ability to change the depth of the water is appealing to me. You have the option of countersinking 1/8 inch or leaving the hole 1/8 inch tall. It has a substantial feel to it. Although it is Chinese, it has a high-quality appearance and "feel" when used. The adjustable exhaust is also a nice touch.
I purchased this to replace a more expensive unit that required constant replacement of all plastic and rubber due to the Florida heat and humidity. This far exceeded my expectations for the same cost as repairing the old unit. It's well-made, light, and simple to operate.
Well, this is the first time I've used one of these guns. They were simple to set up and ready to use. The magazine pops open and the nails all fall out of the gun every time I pull the trigger. Because I'm left-handed, I have to close it with my right hand, which is awkward. Only loaded about 25 nails because I had to bend the lock to keep it closed. I'm sure I'll be able to solve the problem. If I couldn't figure out a way to be smarter than the gun, I would have returned it. br>It works well if the magazine stays closed.
I practiced on scrap mouldings until I got the depth just right. . . I didn't even have to countersink. And, because it's such a small brad, you can't even tell it's there! This is the first time we've installed mouldings by hand. . . . game- changer!.
I ordered a new one, assuming it was a one-off problem. When the replacement arrived, it was missing parts, and I couldn't use it because of them. So I was at a 0 point disadvantage. Attempting to use this nailer for the second time. I'd just do what I'm doing right now and buy from a reputable brand instead of dealing with this.
