As I was creating beds for my grandchildren, I bought this to use as finishing materials. As the material was steamed European Beech, it was very hard. I was able to easily drive the 1 3/8" pins through it. When using a plastic nose cover, the face was not damaged and I still had full penetration at a standard working pressure of 90psi. There were no holes at all because they were so small. With a two finger safety trigger, you can operate the gun easily. There is no need to install any software on the nailer. As long as you have the necessary tools (extra cap and hex key) attached to the nailer, you'll be fine, although I haven't used the key because the nailer hasn't jammed. It's a great idea to include 1000 pins in each of the lengths of this kit, since it saves you a ton of money, as you can test different sizes to find what works best for you. My complete satisfaction with this nailer can be summed up in a few words. It is the best purchase I have ever made.
The tool works really well.
It has been over 50 years since I was first introduced to woodworking. The period that I have been clamping trim and irregular pieces has been quite busy for me. My first reaction was, "Yeah!" when I heard that the Micro Pinner was virtually invisible. The tool has since become one of my most prized possessions. It is virtually impossible to see the fastner hole.
Since I am a furniture maker and finish carpenter by trade, I should have purchased this tool a long time Since I began using it, I have shot several thousand nails without any problems. When driven between 70 and 80 rpm, the pin is perfectly driven An air pressure of 90 psi is required. The pressure should be turned up to 105 if you want to go deeper Approximately 110 pounds of pressure. These pin holes are so small that they aren't really necessary to fill. However, I still have to touch up the holes when it comes to hardwood trim. It is only after the holes are filled that they are visible. It is not possible to nail 18 gauge nails through them. Glue ups and assemblies such as frame faces and cupboard doors can also be done with this product. I would rate it as a 5 star tool without reservation.
