Questions & Answers

Do you have any suggestions for an air compressor that will work with ?

I think it depends on how you plan to use You must nail repeatedly with in and not imitate a machine gun if you are doing this If you use a pancake compressor, or a similar tool, then you're good to go. Approximately 70-80 pounds of pressure is required for the nailer At 115 pounds per square inch. The pressure I run mine at is It should be possible to apply this pressure with just about any portable compressor. Duty cycle is the real question. The type of compressor you would need will have to be able to keep up with the volume of air consumed OR your pace will have to be slowed down until your compressor stops running before each nail is fired. It runs on two compressors and I have never had a problem - one is a 40 gallon shop compressor - A CFM of an equal size is equal to a gun's CFM. Compressor 2 is the other one. The flow rate is six The nail gun is powerful enough to send a few nails before the compressor cycles and I don't have to rapid fire when I'm using it. While the compressor is running, as long as you don't continue to fire, you'll be fine.

What does it mean just below the nailer specifications that says "often bought with this product?". This is a 22 degree nail. What exactly does 21 mean?

It did not pose any problems to use some of the 22 degree. Since I have owned a Bostich gun for 25 years, I know what they can do Among all the ones I've used, this is my favorite. You can really nail it with it

How long does it take to coat nails with plastic?

Are they coated with plastic? Not at all. In my opinion, they must, however, be plastic collated, that is, bound together with a piece of If paper collated nails are effective, I am not sure.

What brand of nails will it accept?

The brands I've used so far are two different ones. I believe any brand of plastic-coated nails of 21 degrees will work as long as they are 21 degrees. It is at Harbor Freight that I have been able to find the most affordable nails. For around $28, you can get 2500 nails. The two sizes I used were 2.5" and 3.5"

Approved by the Dewalt man! There is no time for reviews on my part
5/5

I had no choice but to do it for this reason. Dewalt is my brand of choice. I own everything Dewalt except the 20v nailer, which I paid $500 for. Here is what happened next. The reviews that I read elsewhere prompted me to say hell no. The deal had to be like the 'as seen on TV' sales. Maybe one of the kids will end up with it as a toy for the price. My Amazon order arrived today. In 2 days, I received my order. As it came out of the box, it was heavy, and I figured my arms would be Jello at the end of building a 16'x16' pool deck. I'm in. I am amazed. I have not had even a single jam in a 1000 3-1/2 inch nail. Buying nails from Amazon was recommended to me (I got them from there). A flawless countersink was applied to every nail. The construction is excellent and the product is very The whole thing is all metal, like an old tool from the 70's In the 1980s. I dropped it a few times, no damage and it works like a charm. It may be cheaper to purchase another one like this just because this price is too good to pass up Even though I'm still a Dewalt guy, this big beast is a diamond in the rough in terms of pneumatic framers. I also did not see any.

The materials it took to make it weren't worth The one that can drive nails up to 3+ inches is a little heavier, but it does the job! The framing nailer has yet to give me a problem despite having put well over 1,500 nails through it
3/5

You don't have to shoot the nail at a dangerous angle - just don't be silly If you don't know whether a knot or another obstruction lies under the nail path, be especially cautious! This is
br>- The following updates have been made as of It is advisable not to purchase this nailer unless you have the protection plan and especially if the product will be delivered There is an o-ring in the trigger plunger that holds several different kinds of oil Shortly after my review, I found some cracks in the rings. The fact that the product is still under warranty caused me to decrease the rating to a 1. While the fulfillment company was kind to me when I first contacted them, they handled the entire situation very It is first and foremost disappointing that they did not provide information about an authorized repair service but sent me a broken part (the black thing) with no instructions to fix it! In the event that I contact them My communication about the plunger with the orange cap was very clear (it was the white plunger with orange cap) This is what I was looking for! After receiving their reply, they explained that they sent the wrong part in case and were sending the correct one soon. There was no sign of it! My initial contact with them was to ask that the nailer be sent to them for repairs. They replied that I could mail it back to them at my own cost, which was somewhere in the range of $40 to $50. You should keep in mind that I didn't pay much more for the nailer than I did for the hammer. Make sure you read the fine print!.

You can donate your money to an animal shelter in your area
3/5

This will be a better use of your money! Unluckily, there's no way to remove negative stars from a review. The whole thing was a total waste of money and time. I received the product in a timely fashion, but I was not able to use it for the first few days. At the point when I was going to use it, I was really excited because I thought it would cut my production time in half. The shed is 20 x 15 feet under my house, and because the structure is framed into the house that sits on pilings, I just had to build the frame. The problem isn't too big.
I loaded up some 3 inches. Those galvanized nails will make me 'fly' through this puppy in no time! There are two nails on the board This is it. Check for hose jams after disconnecting the hose. There is nothing. After reinstalling the hose and hammering in two more nails, it stops again. Repetition of the process resulted in the same result, so I no longer provide toe nails for anyone. In other words, it wasn't even worth my time I wasn't trying to shoot nails in a 90 degree angle. My hands went numb as I put the gun away, worried that something might be Result from day two is the same as day one. Please rephrase No information was provided in the troubleshooting section, so reading the instructions was pointless. It turns out that oiling the gun will fix all issues, as it says on the company's website After disconnecting and reconnecting the gun, I completed the framing by hand. This was faster in comparison with disconnecting and reconnecting the gun. I decided to give it a 'ole college try' since I am somewhat stupid (or stupid). The nails I used this time were shorter, 2 1/2 inches long. In honor of T. This siding is located on 111. There are no toe nails or other 'fancy stuff' like that, only 90 degree shots. Those nails are STOPping me, two nails, surprise, surprise. My neighbors 15 year old, rusty Hitachi gun that he has been using almost every day to build with was a better choice than using the old gun as a hammer. I was able to complete the rest of the project without any problems. Connecting should not be interrupted Putting the hose back together, we did not have to use gallons of oil, we just shot over a hundred It would have been cheaper to buy this machine from a big box, but I decided to save a few bucks by trying it out. Considering that time is money, then NuMax is owing me big thanks.
Be smart and spend the extra money (borrow from your neighbors) so you won't worry about high blood pressure.

The gun is of high quality at a bargain price
5/5

I deliberately waited several months to make this review so that I could see if it would hold up under Here are a few of the good things My gun has successfully shot nearly 1500 nails through it so far, and it is functioning almost As I do not need the bump trigger, I have not tried it yet, but I have tested it on every nail size it is capable of shooting without any problems. There is no need for tools to disassemble and move triggers, as they can be cleaned, oiled, and adjusted easily. The adjustable exhaust is an added benefit. A few things that are not good It is a matter of judgment here whether the word is good or bad. A nail is shot twice or a blank is shot about every 70 times with the gun. The gun is oiled and cleaned regularly and I shoot at the recommended PSI, however, I still do not achieve the best results. Another drawback is that this gun is quite heavy and sizable compared to other guns, which can be annoying after having been shooting nails for so long. All complaints are relatively minor. (Students in the picture are 16 on center for comparison). As a whole, this gun doesn't get any better for the price. The cost of even low quality guns at a store is 20% more, so there is no real loss in this situation. Item to note As a result, I cannot provide a direct review of this gun as I do not use it on a daily basis on the job.
