Questions & Answers

What's the difference between the 45 and the 60? There is a 59 kit and a 00 kit. Is a 70 kit available?

This $45 is for the standalone air tool, you have to add an air fitting to it and you're set. An extra anvil is included in the $60 kit.

Is it going to punch 16pennies? Is it possible to use 20pd nails with the gauge size of the nails?

16 penny nails may not be punched out by this machine. In fact, it's going to be over three inches in diameter and I don't think it'll slip over. It works really well for pallet nails, as I know. 6d and 8d are probably the most likely. My goal with it is to do just that. In comparison with an 18 gauge brad nailer, the gun makes about the same size noise Please let me know if this is helpful.

Could this tool be used to push down the nails in tongue and groove floors? Does the damage to the tongues of the tongues make it worthwhile to remove the floor at all?

There is no chance of that happening.

Which part is differrent between the coupler plug and the piston driver assembly of the DAP700? Would you mind telling me what I need to purchase ?

My opinion is that it will not There are large protruding pins on the driver pin of this tool, compared with the pins on a 15 g brad nailer or A harder time will be had filling holes. As well as splitting the tongue, it can also split the The result if it is more than one We bought this floor nailer twice. It accurately sets the angle every time and can be used to drive nails flush 1 at a time -- or to remove old nails from salvaged

It has been a long time since I have seen you
5/5

As a teenager, I spent plenty of time removing nails with a hammer, a flat bar, and a long crowbar. I wish I had this tool back then, as I would have saved so much time and effort! In a video on youtube, I came across this tool and decided to give it a try. It essentially acts as an air hammer, which pushes nails from the holes they've been inserted into. I'm confused. What's the deal with this? As you place the nail tip into the shaft as far as it will go and press the button, you will see that the tool has a shaft with a piston inside. When the piston pushes the nail out as far as it can, the nail is forced down into the board. A board that is thinner than 1 would be considered thin. Especially for nails shorter than 5", using thin boards might cause the nail to FLY out. It takes some practice so don't put the nail fully in the shaft for shorter nails. Using this method for bit 16 nails on thick boards, it will push it as far as it will go and you can then pull it up on the backside.

This also works for bent nails. To do this, use the shaft to straighten the nail and line it up with the hole. Let it rip! Make sure you wear safety glasses and catch the nails with a bucket with water or paper when they are flying out of the board. It was not unusual for nails to bounce off the floor and hit my ceiling in an unapologetic manner! You need to be careful about this thing since it works incredibly.

The impression is not good! What you should avoid buying (And how to do it. IF YOU HAVE A lightweight, cordless, SDS drill with only a hammer / chisel setting - DO NOT BUY IT Interested? You can plug in a hex bit adapter and use that Although it is twice as fast, it is also twice as convenient, but it is If you intend to use the SDS Hammer / Chisel Function, which I am testing for diagnostic purpose before sending it off, do you want it? Bringing together supercomputers The size of pallets for project wood depends on the project. Unlike pallet busters, these do not work with oversized runners - but you could try them out. 3 are all that are left. A doubled of 5" (between the tines) is a 2x double. The runners used on bicycle pallets (from Asia) are 4" in diameter. The air tools we are used to are made to a certain standard - we are used to a certain In this case, I'm referring to the build, the components, and the As a result, the tool comes with a tacky handle and tacky label, a fixed air exhaust, no case (I am using the box, which is fine,) and no male connector for the air. It's all stuff that you wouldn't find in a basic tool from a U. S. This vendor is It can even be made in China. I would say the overall finish appears a bit crude, both for the trigger and the nose. I trust the words of the enthusiasts when they tell me it will thrill me on the One is better than the other for me.

This will save you a lot of time

There are likes. Weight is light, balance is good, and replacement parts are included. It would have taken me a lot longer to hammer out the nails on one 2x4 with a hammer than it did with the punch driver. After a little more than an hour and a half, I had recovered a pile of wood that would have taken a day to gather. Without a problem, I was able to remove nails of almost every size with this tool. A plastic bucket with a magnet inside can help you clean up a nail hole. Small nails in plywood can actually punch all the way out. Thanks for creating such a great tool! I'm very happy with my *Likes to dislike. There have been none It does generate sparks and metal bits as a result of the punching action. Wear safety glasses while using the product. Although I found it to be a bit dangerous to use, I still found it very safe.

Despite its danger and greatness, this thing is did not realize how powerful this tool was until I tried it
4/5

Despite its light weight and large power, it is extremely powerful. BAM, it's gone. You pull the trigger, and the nail pops out of your hand. It is in that situation that danger lurks. A tool like this can be very useful in removing nails from pallets, etc. , but be careful, as a nail can be very dangerous.

Keeping it oiled and taking precautions against ricochets is a good idea
5/5

I found this to work perfectly. If you have a bucket with a hole in the lid or a piece of cardboard to catch the nails, that would be good. In order to avoid jams, be sure to keep it well lubricated with air tool oil.

I cannot believe this! I love this thing! The act of tearing apart pallets was going to cause my death since I am a small woman
5/5

I used this to save myself hours of work. It is easy to use, but make sure you are shooting the nails over a bucket of soft water filled with sawdust, rags or some such material to avoid Safe and smart behavior is a must.

Both the tool as well as the time management feature are time and work savers
5/5

It will be my goal to preserve vintage mouldings and millwork by using this tool. This tool must be used with caution. The user must follow all safety precautions when it is being used. In a hurry it's easy to do things we regret later, but it's also easy to get into something we're not sure about at the time. First and foremost, make sure you are safe! I really like this.

Its extremely effective for setting nails into scrap wood, salvaged wood, pallet wood, decks, and subfloors in little time
5/5

When I purchased this tool, I primarily intended to remove nails from lumber (salvaging flooring or framing lumber from remodels) and to break up pallets. The nail setting and/ or driving ability is similar to that of other scrap wood projects, but others have noted it is equally effective for setting and As well as resetting old nails that were originally set into plywood subfloors (after screwing into joists) in the 90's, I also used this on wood decks where original nails needed to be reset after reinforcing There have been no complaints with this product, it is powerful and very effective- but don't forget your PPE.
