The roof was installed by a DIYer without any issues
5/5

This is my first time building a roof on my own I built a ranch style house all the way up to the roof. A great deal of happiness The positives are The truck is low cost, dependable, easy to load, powerful, fast, and light enough to haul a small trailer. Among the negatives It is fair to say that there is an adjustment period (minor) in preventing double nails. There is a lot of noise The details include This is the model that HD rents, so I selected it over a more affordable model. It was less expensive to purchase than to rent (long time done after work and use of other resources Over the weekend). All jams in the roof were easily cleared up to 1 jam. It only took a few seconds to adjust the depth. The nails you used were Bostitch Fired regularly as soon as they dropped in. This is the learning I had to acquire the skills necessary to hold it steady and firmly Downsizing is a very deliberate process A motion toward the top. The problem is not that big.

Who was responsible for the incident? The Bostitch nailer has always been my favorite, but after these new ones, I'll be looking around for another one
3/5

It may only be a bad batch of nails or maybe that's the way they now shoot nails. It was impossible to get through a bundle of shingles without at least 20-foot ladders The nails go in sideways for 30 nails. My first thought was that it might be the nails so I got a new box but the problem persists. While all the other nail guns have worked fine, these used to be a bit more difficult to use than others.

(Are you thinking gold or orange? i) standard of roof The roof was purchased for a new shed and to use on another house remodel project
5/5

There is no reason not to buy new. Buying a new one, utilizing it as needed and selling at a later date makes the equation easy - they sell used and beat up on Craigslist for top dollar, and you can rent one for a couple of days and then buy a new one. As expected from a new Bostitch, it was a good fit. The flip open one is super easy to load and there have never been any misfires A piece of paper is worth a pound of gold. I can easily say that having a brand new nailer that didn't need to be fumbled with or rebuilt before it worked correctly was well worth the money.

A double fire breaks out
3/5

Building a shed made me realize it was time to own my own roofing nailer since I'd borrowed a few in the past. As I read reviews, I decided to buy it. My local Menards was selling it for $30 less than the sale price. It didn't matter the air pressure, the nail depth setting, the oiling technique or the amount of oiling, the thing would double fire nails by driving the first nail into the wood and then driving a second nail 1/4 of the way in beside the first. Despite my best efforts to fix it, it still didn't work. One thing that really worked was to hold the trigger and bump fire it, but that is difficult to consistently drive nails accurately and In order for the nails to fully seat it would require me to follow up with a hammer, because even with it set to deepest setting and 120 psi working pressure the nails would not always seat completely. It's very possible to achieve this kind of performance with a harbor freight nailer for about $80. You're a MAN, you know that! If these nailers are this expensive, then they should be genuine! I traded in my Max CN445R3 for the other one. Good reviews, seems to be a great product. The results of my trial will be posted once I have given it a try.

The only issue is that it's a five out of five
5/5

My recent retirement has prompted my desire to re-evaluate The tool I used was very helpful to me when I shingles my own house for the first time. As soon as you go through the learning curve, you will find it both reliable and easy to use. This stitch was used by me Bostitch 1 I used just 1/4 roofing nails and it went well, considering I was a novice It was a tough call as I needed to switch to 1 For the ridge and hip areas, I was forced to use a non-steel roofing nail About once every 100 nails, it jammed on me when I was stitching I remove the nails with a screwdriver and a hammer to clear the jam to move the piston from the jammed down position to the normally up position after I remove the jam. 3/4 nails is the maximum size and it is probably due to the magazine being so tight. Due to the very few jams associated with the 1-inch adapter, I will purchase it again notwithstanding this minor issue The Bosnitch nails measure 3/4" wide and 1 1/4" long Over 95% of the nails in the project were 1/4 inch nails.

It is a sequential tip, so check it out before you use it
4/5

My project list for this year includes a few roof repairs, so I thought buying my own roof gun would be a smart investment. You can borrow Bostitch roof guns via Bostitch's website. The RN46-II was a good choice for me My first consideration was the price and the fact that I was familiar with how it worked. it came in 2 days, but I wasn't ready to use it, so aside from opening the box and checking it out, I didn't do anything with it. This week I'm starting my first project and I already had the compressor set up, so I figured I would take a look at it. I'm glad I tried it, but it didn't work - just a little hiss and nothing happened. In fact, I ordered an exchange and received a new one just in time to clip on the I will need to improve my technique since this gun has a contact tip, you hold the trigger and press it against the surface, it immediately fires, so I need to hold it at a certain distance and bounce it off the surface. In my 7,350 square feet, I have two bedrooms and two bathrooms. A foot. Having a lot to practice on, I should be able to nail down the roof. I think the guns I used in the past would shoot nails sequentially. Hold the tip to the work while you squeeze and it would pull With this gun, you will double fire if you do that.

I appreciate it very much Makita cannot compare to this
5/5

This tool is far more effective The last time I worked with my son was last week. As I mentioned before, I purchased a Bostitch nailer and a Makita so my wife and I could both drive nails simultaneously. Bostitch is far superior to the Makita, which double fired at regular intervals, jammed twice, and was far heavier. As a Makita fan, I own quite a few of their tools, but they don't have a competitive product when it comes to roofing nails.

It's an amazing value and a really great It took me forever to use my Ridgid R175RNE, when I had one lying around for years
5/5

My first attempt at using it didn't work. I oiled it and then started using it, but it wouldn't sink. Nails made of HD galvanized steel, length 3-4". There was a recall on it, so I sent it to Ridgid (One World Technologies). I purchased this nailer at Amazon because I have the bostich strapshots and cap siding nailers too and they are both very good. The thing inserted nails without blinking straight out of the box with just a little bit of oil. I put in three squares and there was only one jam. As I opened the magazine I noticed that the nails in the coil were bent (the coil was from the bottom layer of the box and probably bent from being dropped). I could not assume the jam was caused by the gun because the nails in the coil had bent because they were dropped. It is unclear whether the gun I got was new or refurbished, or if it just was re-sold, since Bostich guns don't come with air hose adapters like this one had. It looked as if the packaging had just been designed. One thing I not so keen on is that it doesn't come with a case like the rest of my bostich weapons.
