The device is placed on the tip of the nail when it is being used to remove nails. A nail drives outward, so you can grab and remove the nail by using pliers, a claw hammer, a pry bar or whatever else you have on hand.
They would probably make it all the way through and out the other side if they were pushed through, though it is possible
Yes, it drives nails through the wood. The nail may not go through a 2x4 all the way, but I am not sure. In any case, it will be super easy to pull out the nail if it does not drive the nail all the way. This is a great tool for straightening bent nails and driving them through wood pallets.

There is nothing bad to say about this product. After setting nails on a large deck with it, the pin broke just as I was about to finish. I've used various nail guns for many years in the construction industry, and yes, the pins break sometimes. After that, you get a replacement pin and replace it. When I contacted the seller about the pin, they got back to me promptly, and within a few days after that told me I could get a replacement pin for about $20 (for The purchase of this product is recommended, but only if you also purchase the extended warranty of 3 or 4 years.
I consider it to be one of my favorites. Using a hammer to remove nails was such a long and tedious task for me. You won't find anything better than this tool! You should wear your glasses while you are doing this. Make sure you have a container with padding so you can "catch" the nails.
I've found that it works very well. It is a game changer for nails that extend to the other side of a board, but sadly most of the nails in my pile of lumber do not extend through, so I have to use the hammer and the crowbar again. In spite of the fact that this was the most affordable unit at the time, I do not see any downsides. Although I was going to give this product four stars as light weight, I would actually give it five stars if it were a heavier impact tool. It seems normal for a tool of this size to weigh about this much.
I only recommend buying a bronze connector for this product since it is a good multi light and the price is the best I have seen.
I think this is the best purchase I have made in a long time. It really saves me a lot of time. As if nothing is there but rusty bent nails, this thing blows them out My jaw dropped when I saw this. It seemed like these were everywhere on YouTube, so I decided to give them You need one of these if you're saving wood, as most of us are today due to the ridiculous lumber costs.
It is a good product. Softwood is penetrated by straightening bent nails and putting them through it. In terms of pushing nails through hardwood, it is 90% effective, but it is a good tool to have if you regularly have to push a few nails through.
With lumber prices as stupid as they are, repurposing used material into new wood is the logical thing to do. I bought this for a low price, and it was exactly what I needed. Over time, it has already proved to be very cost-effective.
