Questions & Answers

The wording of the question is "will it pull the nails out of thin pallette wood so that you can put them back in" What do you plan on doing with that Is it easy? Is there a way to do it?

There isn't a pulling action here, but rather a pushing action. This machine has a shaft that is pushed by air and expel the air. Take the tip of the nail gun and place it over the sharp end. The majority of nails can be removed with it with ease. It is important to be careful and wear protection while doing this activity, as the strong force can result in the nail ricocheting when leaving the nail. The one I own is great and I highly recommend it.

Where can I find instructions on changing O ?

There is an extra driver included with it. It's been a while since I had to replace one. On the other hand, If the brad nailer is comparable to other brad nailers, I would expect that it is the same. The four screws at the back of the head can be removed by pulling them out and disassembling as before. If it is not in working order, take it somewhere reputable to be fixed.

When using this tool, can it drive nails through unplaned 3/4" fir siding boards into studs (removing the nails at the same time)?

Exactly 1/4" of the hammer pin extends beyond the tip of the hammer. As soon as you have removed the nails, you will be able to back them out with ease. You will need a good air hammer and punch to accomplish this task.

As for the Air Locker, it is still functioning like a brand new machine
5/5

I have nbsp To get a better idea of the effectiveness of this, I decided to try the $500 version out on a barn demolition project. While punching nails out of two by eight pine boards, I fully expected it to break extremely quickly. It's now been 35 minutes since I completed the demo, and thousands of nails have been punched out of 2x8 boards, and the Air Locker still performs as if In general, it does not punch the nails completely out of the 2x8s, but it usually gets them most of the way out, so you can easily pull them out from the other side. I cannot say enough good things about.

It is an amazing and reliable time saver
5/5

The best way to save time. Our grandson and I just finished razing an old farm house in Northern Minnesota, and we salvaged EVERY single piece of Our time was saved SO MUCH by this product it is worth every penny. It's really cheap at this price, so at least I have a backup in case it breaks before we are There was never a need for a Additionally, simplicity is essential to good design, and this product meets that test. However, I had to remove the top of the cylinder (4 screws) in order to remove a very tiny piece of metal that got wedged into In just a few minutes, I removed the top, dislodged the nail, and replaced it, and it just kept banging hundreds of nails, although I didn't realise it was because the top was loose. This design is great and kudos to Air Locker.

This is an awesome When I was breaking down pallets by hand and removing nails, I wondered if there was a better way to do this
5/5

A tool such as the Air Locker is certainly worth the price. The pressure was 80 psi, so strong that the nails were flying off the 1x4s and 2x4s so fast that they were ricocheting off the walls and the floor A bucket of five gallons caught the nails I tried to catch. As a result, a better ricochet was created. Put foam in the bottom of the bucket and filled it with water. Getting soaked with the splash back was no fun! The bucket worked once a plastic bag was placed over it. It was the best and safest way I could find to catch nails for a while. I used a 13 gallon trashcan with a hole drilled through the lid. A good pair of glasses is a must! Despite my attempt to drive out 30 nails in one shot, I failed to get it to work 29 times out of 30. Don't let this one pass you by!.

A good tool for the right As a lockbox, the Air Locker AP700 does exactly what it is supposed to, and it does it Using it, you can drive nails out of reclaimed wood quietly, accurately, and efficiently
5/5

I was able to effortlessly reclaim a floor by remove old furniture and refinish it As a result, we handled over 800 2" cleats each hour from 3/4" oak, while ensuring that the wood remained in Without this tool, the task would be impossible. It has already provided a return after 20 sqft of use, so I am very satisfied In many ways, it is the same as Harbor Freight #69719 Central Pneumatic 18-Inch Blowout Protector The Crown Stapler is an awg 1/4" Stapler with a Custom Hammer and Nose Assembly that allows guided nail removal from the staple. It will give you an idea of the quality if you have ever used HF tools, and professional grade is an appropriate description. A bare, metal frame could survive almost any abuse as long as it was * 2500 fasteners were ejected from the hammer, and it was only slightly deformed. While this is not an industrial tool by any means, it doesn't have delicate safety mechanisms or brightly colored plastic pieces that could break off as they do with Taking additional precautions in order to ensure safety is a wise decision, as there is no pressure-activated safety feature. In spite of this, I think the reduction of complexity and the added versatility are worth it due to the absence of fasteners. The only danger is if you jam it hard against your skin and it burns (which would result in a significant puncture wound). A discharge is likely to be harmless if it occurs by accident. It is still imperative to wear safety glasses A smooth-faced woman As a result, surface finish nails often go flying out with surprising (and amusing) velocity, enough so that I saw several 4" nails stuck in the drywall around the room after the project was complete. When used on boards larger than 8", almost no kick occurs, but on smaller boards, it is problematic because it tends to become a projectile. If the trigger is depressed continuously for 3/8" or more, the hammer can project about 3/8" from the nose, making inspections easier and allowing countersinking to be performed. According to one reviewer, the depth of the shank cannot be adjusted very easily, though I found that at the very least, the placement of the nose on the shank is an easy way to control depth. To grind down the hammer, you could need a particular depth - this could be done for special purposes. You'll need to spend about ten dollars to replace the device. As a result of finishing my floor project, I have found some other useful 1 .

Framing nails need to be flushed About 1/4" per hit for framing nails up to 3" in diameter. The 15 degree nailer usually muffs after about a third drive. When that happens, I find this to be much easier to use (and a lot more accurate) than hammering it in. Nailing off to the side It allows you to drive nails with this tool that are impossible to be driven in any other way by transferring the force of the hammer through a sturdy pry bar. You need to install your two-point locking system Taking nails from the back side of a wall to nail a blue single gang electrical box is not possible due to angular placement of nails if you prop a Stanley WonderBar up against the nail head, and then hit the WonderBar as close as possible, it will work. *3 minutes later, the job is done. - Punching holes in the wall Brittle materials are drilled neatly with a 1/8" hole. A masonry hole saw is needed to cut a circle in cement board. Of course, you can buy and carry a masonry hole saw in every size, but it can get very expensive. Simply trace around the circle, punch all the way around the line, and the circle will come right out with no mess resulting. It is a very satisfying product. I highly recommend the AP700 to anyone who wishes to salvage hardwood floors.
