Questions & Answers

Is there any point in purchasing this item if I cannot purchase the additional batteries?

If you charge the battery once a day, it will last all day, but you can purchase extra batteries from the manufacturer

What other brad nails does it have trouble shooting besides Kimo?

Mail to service@kimotools. Thank you for contacting us, *br>Hi, it's great to hear from you. As long as they are 18 gauge, you will not have any trouble using other brad nails. It does not matter what brand you have. Using the KIMO brad nailer is simple and effective, as the nailer can shoot 18GA brad nails of different lengths.

The product features may not be visible to me. In addition to the purchase of 18g, 20v brad nailers, what is included? A bag that looks like it would be used to carry stuff. Are you going to use one or two Are you charging?

Besides the nailer itself, it comes with a carrying case, one battery, and a charger. It also comes with 1 1/2 nails and staples.

The difference between 18 ga and 16 ga is what?

Mail to service@kimotools. This is a measure of the thickness of There are more atoms per square inch in 18GA than in In general, the number higher means that the nail is thinner. While brad nails are made from 18 gauge wire, finish nails are manufactured from 16 or 15 gauge wire. While finish nails are ideal for installing larger crown and baseboard trim, brad nails are used for securing smaller trim to prevent splitting and to promote a cleaner, more professional appearance. After the nails are nailed, finish up the work. This may be of some use to you.

Those looking for a cordless brad nailer or staple gun should look no further
5/5

As I work on various projects that require a brad nailer and a staple gun, I'll need both. The tools I require for each of these needs were not available to me, so I needed one tool that would be able A search on the Internet for a cordless combo option I liked, preferably one from Milwaukee or DeWalt, did not show that either brand made an 18-volt combo tool This brad nailer and crown stapler combo has gauges from 6 to 10. The KIMO 20V 18 Gauge Cordless Brad Nailer/Stapler Kit came to my rescue because of that. As I read the Kimo marketing materials for this product on Amazon, and as I read the reviews, I was convinced that this would be a worthwhile purchase, backed by a company with great customer service. I ordered the product through Amazon, and received it a few days later. In the box were all of the items shown in the complementary picture. In response to receiving the shippers' materials, I immediately hammered in a few test staples/nails into some scrap The gun initially wouldn't fire, but that was due to the fact that I didn't load the staples correctly and should have read the instructions first. Once the staples were loaded properly, it fired fine. After my first weekend of learning how to hang tongue and groove panels on walls of a 12'x12'x9' room, I was ready to begin my first job. The dimensions of the 2"/18" are as follows As soon as I put in the gauge brad nails and positioned the countersink knob to my desired depth, I was done. During the two days it took me to hang the pine tongue and groove, I started off with fully charged batteries that lasted throughout the day and fired hundreds of nails each time. It was very helpful to have the battery life indicator on the battery because it let me know how much I had left in the battery towards the end of the day and it was only orange so I knew I would make it through. I did not find the weight of the gun to be an issue since I was able to maneuver the gun into a position that I selected to drive the nail As for LED lights that turn on when you pull the trigger, I appreciated the option, but since I was in a lit area, I wondered if I could turn it off to save battery life. You cannot turn off the LED light and the battery wasn't affected by the two LED lights. There was only one self-inflicted jam, and that was when I switched from staples to brad nails, which was an operator error and I was able to move the jam quickly. There were no jams in the hundreds of brad nails, and the only time it wouldn't fire was when I ran out of In general, I am completely satisfied with my purchase and it meets all my requirements. I believe it is a quality product that will last a long time. In the future, I plan to buy other cordless products from Kimo and am eager to get started on my other projects with this unit.

The fact that I'm a DeWalt snob is a testament to this tool's quality

Bravo! The Kimo Model 9418A, 18GA 20V Cordless Brad Nailer/Stapler is reviewed. Where is the included content? The kit contains the nailer/stacker, the carrying case, the instruction manual, a charging station, and one 20V lithium-ion battery. A lithium-ion There are no nails Qty. ), 0 Ah. I call 701 The staples will be in the size 5/8", quantity An allen key, 5/8" in diameter (not shown in the photo), complete the set. What's the point of not giving Here are three "minor" reasons why the star was lowered by one. It did not come in a sealed box. This made me believe I was missing something, but in reality there wasn't, but I still sealed the package. Additionally, the carry bag does not allow the nailer or stapler to sit flush in the bottom, especially when nails or staples are in the inside compartments of the bag. The battery does not click into the charging station when coupled with charging, nor does there seem to be any feel-able Maybe this is because I am a DeWalt guy, so I just assumed it was that way in the past? I know these are petty issues, but I am being hypercritical and doing a review so I am being critical. Now I will tell you why it probably deserves My software worked out of the box without a hitch! Charge the battery for at least an hour, and then use a stick of 18GA 5/8" Bostitch nails to load the battery. It was just a piece of doorstop that needed sprucing up and the depth was already at the perfect level. (Distance to maximum depth on drive depth adj. is 10 clicks short of max depth. An axle. really enjoyed fixing that, so I moved on to fix up two other door frames that had been damaged by the change of season. It's an old house (incredibly old house) and I deliberately tried to start with the smallest nails, as I figured if there were any problems, that would emerge rapidly. There was not a single misfire or blowout. It sure is not the same without the compressor to listen to! The hose entangles me (or I wind up entangling myself. expected, you would have to deal with additional weight if you had been using air-powered Going from a Glock to a 1911 is like going from a pistol to a revolver. It should be noted that these observations are from day one. My promise to you is that if I continue to have this much joy from using it, I will be back to inform you. Besides, this was my first Kimo product and, if the future is anything like the past, I will not be the last user. My apologies to DeWalt, but I simply do not feel the need to spend $300 or more on something I'll barely use. It is my hope that this has been useful.

For the first time I have owned a nail gun
5/5

I've already charged the battery and so far it's working fine. Based on my experience, it works great for installing baseboards without jams, comes with nails as well as a carrying case. This gets 5 stars from me. This is excellent.

A tool that makes the job easier and has the right features
5/5

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS ONLY A SUMMARY This is not a finishing nail for framing with a 18 GA brad nailer. My favorite nails are those you can use without a cord like this one. I can drive probably 300 brads without having to change the nails. There was a problem with the battery, so I replaced it That is to be commended. When you have a large project to work on, you should allocate plenty of time for it Getting a backup is always a good idea There are a few pounds to the nailer (about 6 lbs I guess), but it is still very easy to handle and handle. On the top of the nose there is an adjustment wheel for adjusting the depth. Using the counter-clockwise rotation, I changed the direction of the wheel While my brads were opposite, my knobs were clockwise The ship sank. The depth of the cut can be adjusted according to the size of the nail and the materials you are using. Have not yet Getting tangled up We will update you further once we receive more information.

This is amazing
5/5

I was very happy with the results. Any price point will be able to afford this nailer. My purpose for buying this was to hang laminate on the wall and to do some light trim work. There were two inch 18 ga brad nails included in the package, so I didn't have to go shopping. I put the battery on the charger in the box when I opened it, and it was already fully charged so I could start using it right away. An electric nailer with a lot of power. There was another brand I wanted to buy, but this one came with good reviews and was half the price. These nails can easily be driven through my trim and into my studs with their 2 inch length. I love how easy it is to use and how lightweight it is, and I appreciate the LED lights it has. Reviewing nailers is something I rarely do, but I liked this nailer too much to not write one.
