The fact that the tool was to be repaired did not occur to me until after I had purchased the tool. Since I needed it to complete two small projects, I didn't think it would make much of a difference in the long run. My disappointment I experienced when I was going to use it on project number one and loaded the tool and was ready to use it but it did not fire when I clicked When I checked the Ryobi website, I discovered that one of the pieces where the nail comes out of was missing from my gun. I didn't think much of it because it was in a small plastic bag that came with it. As we attempted to "attach" the missing pieces, we found that the metal had been broken and the piece had actually broken off. A return is in the works, but I have to pay out of pocket for shipping the tool It is going to cost me more to ship it back since it is an incomplete project and a damaged tool. The seller is not someone I would recommend buying from.
