There is no easy way to find this When it comes to exterior trim, stainless steel is important to me. As part of a large project of replacing doors and windows, I installed a lot of PVC trim.
To use stainless on this project is quite expensive, but it's worth it.
I just wanted to let you know. It appears, despite not being clearly labeled on Amazon or on the stainless steel brad packaging, that the Bostitch brand brads I received are made of 316 stainless steel They do not seem to be attracted at all to the powerful magnets I have. There appears to be no problem using these brads on boats!.
The Ryobi 18v finish nailer is what I used with them. There was a tendency for them In addition, I have a Porter cable nail that is not stainless steel. It is possible for me to fire all day long without a hitch. I find the price to be fair overall. It's not necessary for me to work with stainless steel a lot. Therefore, they will be able to complete the task at hand.
Even so, I am more interested in knowing that they won't rust in an outdoor application like steel.
