I've had a Swanson Speed Square for as long as I've been able to use a saw, and I've always been curious about what the various symbols on it meant. I knew I had to have one when I heard there was a book about it. I'm not a carpenter, but I'm a jack of all trades, and this thing helped me figure out what those terms meant. In the future, it will make construction and cutting a lot easier.
It's extremely useful and simple to read. When I'm working on projects around the house, I always have it with me.
Although this is a self-explanatory book, it can be intimidating if you have no prior carpentry experience. It is simple to read.
I'm not sure what they're supposed to be used for. I assumed they were meant to fit on a bottle of superglue to allow for precise glue placement. They don't seem to fit on any of the bottles I've looked at.
This is an excellent resource for someone who does not frequently construct stairwells and other similar structures. It's preferable to experimenting.
When you get a speed square, this is a fantastic addition. In fact, if you aren't familiar with a speed square, you should learn how to use one.
