My ryobi keyless 1/2 in. chuck went with this. In terms of a setup that cost less than $30, it was excellent. Running was minimal the chuck held on tight to the bits, and the R8 function was excellent. Only because the threads were pulled out by the drawbar when I mounted it into a mill, was I able to rate it a 3. Although the threads of mill A's drawbar are more worn than those of mill B, where it still functions, I don't have that same ease of use that it had one When I removed my Ryobi chuck, I discovered that the 1/2-inch drive was damaged Some of the threads on 20 showed distortion as well.
I am purchasing another one to replace the one I have.
what I am doing It is important to fit, finish, and run out correctly. It is only a 3 since it is too long and the life expectancy is very low. As a result of the additional info, I have bumped the score up to To give an unbiased review, I also tested another, less used r8 arbor, and the drawbar threads jumped during the thread tightening process. As a consequence of the sloppy drawbar major diameter threads and the rolled major diameter threads in the arbor, I am experiencing this.
It works perfectly.
