It is my first lathe that I have bought. No matter what brand you choose, these machines are a little finicky and need some fine tuning to work smoothly. A 5 star rating will not do justice to the quality of the product I received, but rather it will be due to the vendor's prompt response and willingness to go above and beyond to solve the problem. My sincere gratitude goes out to you! The vendor I purchased from will be my first choice There is a great deal of accuracy in the representation. To start with a lathe, take the control panel cover off, add a piece of plastic or piece of cloth over the control board to ensure metal shavings do not hit the control board, tighten the gibs, and mount the machine to a worktable.
Having been on the fence about getting a lathe for a long time, I shopped around a lot before settling on this model. The product arrived as advertised and I have had no problems with it thus far. I did have to buy the accessories, but other than that it came as described. I'm neither a professional nor a student, so it fits my needs perfectly. Competitive pricing and fast shipping made this product a good buy. It's a happy day for me. All I have to say. (Four stars is my highest rating so far. ).
There are a lot of dead spaces in most of the knobs but if you turn them enough they will rotate. I think this is a lathe, not the best but it spins when I turn the knobs.
It was a cheap lathe, and I was expecting it to turn on just like a regular lathe does, but I had to pay an extra $50 to add it to my inventory.
It came in a secure box and is very sturdy. Though I haven't had the chance to use it yet, I am looking forward to it.
Now that I've owned the lathe for about a month, it's time to put it to work. It was no problem for me to get my work done with Run fine. There has been a problem since The fuses I bought have been replaced, but it will still not run. Keeping blowing the fuses again and again.
It seems to work well and the plastic chuck guard is no longer functional, and there is no light as in the picture. The rest of it is fine with me.
When you pay a high price, you really get a high quality product.
