Working with this tool is relatively easy. Three hundred dollars was the price of one I bought. The drill part of this tool started to break immediately after cutting 50 times. I gave it 4 stars because the part where the drill attaches to the unit began to wear out However, it looks like it works just fine apart from that. It was 5 months ago that I used it, so now it's back and I'm writing It's hard to understand why they would ruin their tool with one bad part. The part that connects the drill to the machine is so soft that you can cut through it with pliers. This should have been made of drill steel or another material that is harder than.
Tools like this can be used in a variety of ways. My experience with the system has been excellent, and I am happy with its performance and functionality. When compared to some of the other options available from the competitor companies, this tool is overpriced. This is not the route I would go if I ever found myself in need of a notcher. My trip would be much more enjoyable if I had a JD2 notcher and an offset attachment from Swag Offroad. With a little extra money left over, you can get other great tools AND.
Those who want to tear holes in their wood should use this notcher. Thankfully, now that I have this one, I have a place under the bench for my notchmaster and beast. It is designed so that you can create any notch you may require. In addition to the quality, there is also a level of professionalism. While the price is kind of a bummer, the old saying applies nonetheless. Once you have bought and used this notcher, you won't have to buy another.
With stuff over 60 degrees and larger tubing, such as 2", you run into the vice and have to use a grinder to finish it off. The quality is excellent and the setup is extremely rigid. During my last two visits to the store, I noticed my hole saws were damaged By using this, you will have 3 times the lifespan. The mere fact that you can use it semi frequently makes it pay for itself!.
The notch itself is solid, I grant you that, but just wait until you have to do a 70-degree First time I used it, I had to cut the tube to allow the cutter to go full depth, and I lost $90 in the process. The angle plates are made of aluminum! Not at all. But, thanks for the offer, I will keep using my Godzilla Notcher from Protools.
