If you can get C6 carbide at a great price, that would be fine. The cheap price was nice, but I was a little disappointed to see that the carbide was not cemented on with enough overhang to get clearance for To get the carbide to cut without the holder hitting, I had to grind it at a better angle. Now that they are working well, they seem to be doing well. I have nothing better to say about the price. Set is good for a beginner. The cutter ID etched on the side of the tool is very faint if it exists at all. The identification part is lacking in some aspects, which is why I rated it a 4 out of 5. It's not the end of the world, but you.

The term "carbide" is defined as being tough, without chipping, and The product was excellent and I would definitely purchase it Carbide = Tough, no chipping, not too significant for me. Cosmetics = OK, the usual cheap paint, not important to me. The braze was well done. Well ground, but they could be honed a little more. Angles of clearance are correct. It even has a small 'rounded' tip to prevent chipping of the carbide tip. The product is excellent and I'd definitely purchase it.

These work just fine for the price, I tend to use them with brass, silver, nickel and copper. Pay what you want and you will get what you desire.

There isn't much to dislike about these 38 bits for a bargain price. I've used them several times and have never had an issue.
