It is a 1. I need a 1. This is a small sprayer for clear coating guitars and auto body panels up to 2mm thick. It's not an especially good spray gun, to begin with. You should think twice about expecting something else for $30. In my opinion, it is nice, and considering the price, I'd give it a 4 star rating. It certainly is better than most spray cans, too. I am guessing this will be a very light duty item, so I am not sure how long it will last. Don't use it daily or weekly if you intend to use it daily or weekly. It is possible to adjust the width of the fan, the trigger pull, and the Rate of fluid does not need to be adjusted. It is also important to note that this is a very small weapon. Although it was perfect for my purpose, the gun is not standard in size. It leaks fluid in the one that I have right now.
I really hate it. My repair work has been completed. All fittings have been tightened and teflon tape has been used where needed. My trigger finger is still getting wet (despite wearing gloves). In my case, since I am using clear vinyl rather than black, I cannot tell if the leak comes from a cup fitting, the trigger, or from the front of the gun. A minor technical issue was that one of the fittings on the air regulator was Air leaked in, so it leaked. To make the air connection leak-free, I used a tap and die to make the threads on the fitting and the body of the regulator straight and teflon taped them.
Garbage at an affordable price. Quality of casting is poor, and leaks are present. If you have only one or two jobs to do with it, buy one that works better instead of spending the money on one that does only one or two jobs well and then tosses it in the trash. It will be kept as a spare in case my other one breaks down in the middle of a job, but it kind of hurts me how poorly it is made.
I've used it for a few years now, and I've painted several pistols and rifles with it. Easy to clean and I've used it for several years now. There is a slightly large needle on this needle, but it will still do the job well.
To do some bodywork on the Jeep, I had to have this tool. down, the best tool in its class.
The cut was really good at first and then just stopped. Before it would cut without delay, I had to take it apart and tighten a nut on the inside three times.
You can tell from its looks and feel that it has been in use for at least ten years.
The aluminum it was supposed to cut was not cut to the specified gauge.
It broke the first time it was used, where the guide area was located. Don't go cheap, don't go cheap.
