Hello and good morning. The shaft that holds the wheel is 3/8" in diameter, if that's what you're talking about. It's about 1-inch from the handle to the head of the tool that holds the wheel if you're talking about the main shaft. The diameter is 1/4". Thank you very much.
Hello and good morning. This is a tool that runs on compressed air. Thank you very much.
Snap ring pliers can be used to remove the guard, but I haven't tried a flapper wheel in it yet. I'm not sure if it will work.
The ones you bought from Lowe's don't have an arbor hole. The blade is.065" thick. 3/8" (usually found on 3" discs for 3" air cut off tools), 5/8" (usually found on 4" discs), and 7/8" (usually found on 4" discs) are the most common arbor sizes. 5 inches and up). They do make 4" discs for 3/8" arbors (as well as for larger air cutoff tools like this).

Because I was able to get into tight spaces, it made my project much easier. It cuts extremely well and only stalls once in a while. However, don't expect to run this on a small or moderate-sized compressor because it requires a lot of air to run, and even a large compressor will run the compressor almost constantly.
Great tool with a lot of power, low rpm, and excellent cutting ability. This is a large tool with a lot of reach, and it's quite long. The guard can be adjusted to any angle, which is very important. The only drawback was that it came with two generic cut-off wheels that didn't fit properly. The hole in the arbor resembled. Instead of "460," write "460. " As a result, they aren't going to work as is. I centered the disc with a small rubber oring in the hole and tightened it down; it worked perfectly. In general, I'm pleased!.
Second day working on my car I needed my cut tool and nothing… I depressed the trigger and nothing… I depressed the trigger and nothing so I helped along with% Nothing on the third day. Garage. For such a high-priced tool with a well-known brand name, it should last a long time. I've been using pneumatic lubricant for the past three days, and it's seized. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS TOOL AS IT IS GARBAGE.
It's very quiet, and cutting straight lines is a breeze. It's extremely durable and well-made, and it'll last for years. I recently received my AIRCAT 6275-. THE ARBOR SIZE IS 3/8 INCHES, NOT 3/4 INCHES, AS SOMEONE ELSE HAS STATED. It's a quiet tool that's ideal for tight spaces. It's ideal for cutting welds and demolish metal. Cutting straight lines with a smooth clean cut is very simple. The Aircat 90-degree die grinder and the reciprocating saw are already in my possession. Aircat tools will be purchased in the future.
It does the job, but it isn't as powerful as I had hoped for for the price. br>br>Even at 90 psi, it bogs down and stalls when cutting 1/2" bolts. br>br>It did the job, but I believe a similar tool from HF would do the job just as well for a much lower price.
This was purchased for a small sheet metal project, and it performed admirably. Since then, I've used it on stripped bolts, conduit, and just last week, I cut the drain pipe for a new sink installation to size. It's comfortable in my hands and powerful enough to cut 1/4" steel if you take your time and don't stall out. br>It's one of my most-used tools.
At work, I use it almost daily. The PC version is nearly identical to the Mac version. Other players with the twice-priced Blue point can switch rotations, but I don't mind. tool that has been well-made.
Works as intended, but if I let it sit for a few weeks before using it, I have to clean it because the oil becomes sticky and won't spin. This is the only tool that has been affected by Marvel air tool oil. It takes about 10 minutes to clean, so I'd say it's a minor annoyance.
