I will agree! What a piece of crap this drill is. It needs to be sent back to you. The one I have been using for three days has been Motor and cord melted and broke as the motor heated and the cord ran from the motor to the hand piece. When I called the maker, they told me there was a defect in its design. To put the bit in the machine, one needs a special key. Amazon is where I found it. For the video of this model, you can go to You Tube. You can find out the size of the chuck key from the guy in the video. Once you have ordered it on Amazon, it will be shipped to you. There were around 9 cents in it. Please find below some information I hope is helpful
Because the hand grip is encased in the chuck, this is not likely to be possible. In addition to replacing the entire cable/chuck assembly, I intend to upgrade the drive mechanism. I have a nasty habit of using the chuck assembly and having it fall apart when I'm There are too many fine threads on the spool, causing them to vibrate loosely. In order to put the threaded sections together and make them more snug, I laid out plastic wrap between them. Except for that, I've had mine for over four years and have almost used it every day.
Yes, that is the case. The motor shaft can be disassembled from the motor and taken with you separately, or it can be put back into the box and moved There isn't much bulk to it.

As factory tightened, the chuck is ready to use. It needs to be taken to a hardware store in order to be used. Apparently, some tools come out of boxes with either the top full of tools or the bottom full of tools. The chuck teeth of the tool were damaged as well as the chuck key, so the tool was ripped. There was no involvement on the part of the seller it was entirely on the part of.
It's love between my husband and me.
There's an unpleasant smell inside the machine but it works.
First, I thought about returning it because it was a bit loud. Once I decided to give it a chance, I've been pleasantly surprised. I heard a lot of noise. It just needed a little time to warm up, it has been working fine since then.
It's nice to have this.
I bought it to do some wood shaping and stone carving. I am not a professional and I did not want to spend more than $150 on something that I had no idea how to use and would end up messing If you'd like to get into engraving or stone carving, this is a great place to start. Having owned this machine I have been able to do quite a few interesting things that I would not have been able to do before. If you are interested in getting this exact same one for about $20 less, think about checking out harbor freight tools as they have it for about $20 less, you can also get another $10 off if you have the 20% off coupon and add the 2-year It has been a hard go with this thing, since I purchased it, I have used it every day. It took about 3 weeks for me to get it and I have not had any problems with it since then. In the past, I have been able to use a 1/8 bit on it. I have also been able to use bits made by Dremel on it, just make sure they are 1/8.
Whenever I sculpt stained glass, I use this tool for roughing out the edges and grinding them. However, a problem has been noticed by others that needs to be addressed. Using a compression set ball bearing fitted into a slot on the shaft, the handpiece (chuck assembly) is connected to the flex It is possible that the compression clamp holding the ball bearing will slip and the hand piece may fall off. It can get a little messy during the carving process.
