Questions & Answers
It uses a standard 1/4 mandrel. I have this exact tool and I love it. I use mostly burr bits and a cutoff wheel mandrel for 4in cutoff disks on a daily basis. I give this tool five stars for its durability and ease of use; it also comes with wrenches. I hope this information is helpful.
Yes, a reverse switch allows you to turn it off.

By far, my preferred die grinder. It has a reversible option, which is fantastic. I just wish I could find a 90° die grinder that had the same feature. The head will loseen up every now and then, which is the only part that is a little annoying. for quite some time It will appear that your airflow has decreased. It's not a big deal, just tighten it up again. She has begun to purr once more. I'll most likely order another one soon. I'm hoping that Air Cat will release a 90° version of this in the near future.
I'm glad I didn't pay $300 for a snap-on that can't reverse or have easy speed control.
Works fine, reverse is a nice feature, but it's quite loud, and the collet loosens up quickly. My snap-on and cleco grinders are significantly better. This performs similarly to my craftsman die grinder, with the exception that the craftsman does not loosen up.
It's fantastic.
With a moderate airflow, you can get a lot of power. Perfect.
This grinder is something I use on a daily basis and it consistently meets or exceeds my expectations.
I also use a lot of 1in crimped wire end brushes, and it handles those jobs admirably!.
