Sadly, I don't recall its CFM, but I use it on my Harbor Freight collector and I'm very happy with it. I got better filtration with this bag than I did with the existing stock bag I had. The filter should be able to block noise up to about 1 kHz.
The bottom of the bag sounds like it needs to be of a heavier gauge. In all my years of using the standard Delta replacement bags for collectors, I have never experienced a bottom bag rupture.
The size of a baseball is approximately ten inches
There is nothing hard about the bag other than the bottom is laced with loops - just a bag If you plan to wear a band, you'll need one

The following review is meant for those wishing to determine how well this item may work with a 2 horsepower dust collector from Harbor Freight (HF) There is almost no better bag for the HF dust blower than this one. The bag is almost perfect, though it is a little too large, and it does not hang very well on its own from the hook. Putting the dust collector on top of the bag with a too large bag can be fixed by simply folding it over on itself In spite of this, the device performed as expected with no "air leaks," loss of suction, or performance reduction. However, this bag actually allows for a greater airflow (better performance) than the stock bag. While it is not usually an issue, the bag will slide off the hook when turned off as it sticks straight up when the collector is turned on, and collapsing into itself when turned on again. In the end, I simply hooked a couple cable ties on the hook to keep the strap on the hook (see photo) because my OCD force me to make the bag play nice with the hook. The bag is very well made and I am pleased with it overall. This upgrade improved the performance of the HF dust collector for a lot less cost than some other alternatives.
My dust collector has a 2 horsepower Harbor Freight motor and I purchased these for that. It's not an exact fit but no problem to overlap a small fold before clamping the bags in place because the bags are heavy duty. The bag I need to replace has never been available Please get in touch with us by 8/6/2018 There are a total of 19 bags in this size range These 1/2" x 41" can now be purchased. As I mentioned, this should fit into the Harbor Freight dust collector and I will try these again next time. The 20x43 must have been the only ones available when I purchased them but I have to make an overlap fold to secure the bag but this is hardly a problem. There is no information on the thickness of these bags, but they are heavy duty and will not disappoint you. Also, if you have the HF dust collector, the 70001 Dust Collector Bag from Powertec 20-Inch will work perfectly. The HF x31 bag is a micron bag (cloth filter on top of the cyclone) and you will notice the difference between it and You can of course purchase the better canister type filter, but they are more.
I have updated This bag has been on my body for about a week now. There is a difference in filtering. The system I am using today has been having some problems. My body is covered in dust. It is clear to me that there are no clogs in the lines or the DC. I noticed a substantial loss of flow when I pulled the hose at the jointer. A table saw and a RAS both need to be inspected. During the DC I noticed a plastic bag flowing from a band clamp and the bag was sagging. It is only the new filter bag that I can attest to this. I hate it. One week after starting, it seems to be filtering so well that it has clogged. The dust in the bag is better than having no collection, which is what I am at the moment. The filter bag can no longer be recommended unless you don't use your shop very often or you don't mind cleaning the bag a few times every week. The work does. In comparison with the original HF bag, I noticed less dust in the shop and the bag stayed white. It used to be that the strap holding it on was about third notch from the top. Getting it to latch now has really taken some pulling and squeezing on my part. It's not a big deal as long as it's tight and sealed.
To replace a harbor freight 5 mic filter on our dust collection system, we bought this. By removing the filter in the shop, we are noticing a difference in the air quality and the amount of dust that settles. I found the installation process to be pretty straightforward. It has been mentioned that this filter works on the HF unit, but it was bigger and needed to be rigged up to make it work. With this one, I did not find that to be the case. I was able to put it on with no problems.
You can save a lot of money by switching to this filter instead of the 5 micron HF stock filter if you're on the cheap but still want to keep your lungs healthy. There was no difference in suction, but fine particles were far less numerous. I needed something to prevent the dust cloud from forming around me when I'm working since I stand next to the dust collection unit. I was able to complete the task. Here is some advice if you're going to put it on the 2HP HF. Just fold it over and attach it to your belt! No use for the belt loops!.
This was even though it had a larger diameter than my Delta AP400 dust collector, but I decided to use it to see if it was cheaper. For the past few years, my AP400 filter media has been very reliable, and I thought it a shame to replace it with something new. It came with 30 micron bags, which I had to upgrade. It was impossible to fold the bag over after trying it. Due to the smaller filtering microns in the felt bag, I needed a larger bag as compared to the original. I was able to use my existing band clamp on it even with the oversized portion folded Added a plastic bag to the bottom of the At first, the AP400 had a noticeable impact on the amount of power drawn. As a result, the upgrade was very inexpensive, especially since a new dust collector would have cost more. All my equipment is connected to my AP400, which is equipped with 4" galvanized round duct with blast gates. A new life has been breathed into my AP400 with this change. One wish I would have had is for Powertec to make the band taper down to fit a A good CFM can still be obtained by changing the bag to a felt bag but we'll still need the oversize top portion of the.
I purchased this product to replace a 5 micron filter on my 70 gallon Central Machinery dust collector with a 1 micron filter. The original was slightly larger, but it still works fine. It does a really good job and is a good fit. This piece is made of thick material and may last for a very.
It is more likely that people will buy this when Harbor Freight dust collectors are reduced from 5 microns to 1 microns. Taking it a step further, I made sure it did not impair airflow too much, and I found it to be Despite not being able to see the particles, I am generally satisfied with how it is reducing.
