Enhanced with a HEPA final filter, the Bosch VAC090AH is designed for indoor air quality. Since I remove tiles and concrete from inside homes with the help of the VAC090A, I have the AH, which does come with a final HEPA filter. Vac systems like this one are tough and reliable. This is a highly recommended book.
As far as the Milwaukee model is concerned, I am unfamiliar with its performance. I bought this item to use in my woodshop. The fact that, after sanding multiple doors, there are no particles floating around in the air is astounding to me.

In a nutshell A VAC090AH was purchased to be used in conjunction with an Oneida cyclone bucket for concrete grinding. I was pleased at first as it offered a lot of suction and the automatic filter cleaning kept it operating. I had to replace the cyclone bucket filter to keep 95 percent of the dust out of the vacuum, but the vacuum itself was still usable, despite suction that declined towards the end of my project. I purchased this vacuum about five months ago and it hasn't worked since. It may take a minute or even longer for the suction to be restored before the machine makes woo woo sounds and eventually There is no action from the vac despite the power light remaining illuminated. It takes the unit off and then turns on again to partially solve the problem, only to have the "woo woo"s repeat again. It's very frustrating to receive this kind of refund because the unit was supposed to be 579 dollars. At the time I purchased it, it was $ 00. At this point, a 20 dollar Ridgid shop vac from black Friday is a better deal. My money is gone, and I'd like it.
The tool allows tools to turn on while they are being used, so I really appreciate that. Having a handle to hold onto makes it easier for workers to move through a job site So far, I have been tired on a back On the fourth time we had to lift it out of the truck, the rear wheels fell off since there were missing straps. Presses back in, but it still doesn't work! The front wheel locked unconsciously, and now the front small wheel is deformed because it was in a You can get $500 for To push it, I would expect to see all the parts, the axel not falling out, and a handle instead of having to bend over if I wanted to do that. Lastly, Bosch does not make a 3/4" wide accessory attachment for concrete insitu, and generic ones do not work well with Bosch's. I find the price to be a bit of a bummer.
Concrete floor preparation is not possible with this product. It has been several months since I bought it and it does not work with handheld As much time as I spend working, I spend cleaning out the filter. Auto Filter Clean blows dust around the edges of the machine when it hits the filter (not dust-free). In fact, when you turn it off to clean the filter, it blows dust out the sides of the machine as it shuts down (not dust-free). The moment you pull out the filter and shake it in the bag with a vacuum cleaner, dust goes everywhere (not dust-free). A couple of weeks ago, the motor stopped working intermittently. It is not compatible with standard hoses or attachments. My duck tape hasn't been working, so I've duck taped everything together.
In looking at dust extractors over the past year or so, I realized it was time for an upgrade from a standard shop vacuum. Because I've had good experiences with Bosch tools in the past, I chose Bosch over Festool. As well as the 16 ft hose, I also purchased hose adapters and an additional 14 ft hose. To store the hose adapters, I store them in a 6 inch L-shaped cabinet There is a boxx that fits nicely on the extractor. In order to save the much more expensive included Hepa filter for applications that would require such a high level of dust extraction, I purchased a standard filter for general use. The standard hose worked fine with my Bosch hand tools and the only instance in which an adaptor was required for my Bosch table saw was when I connected it to my Bosch hand tools. Using the standard filter leaves the filter thumper on, but I don't mind it. Bosh bags are the only bags I will use with the extractor, so I bought extra All in all, we are very pleased with the 9 gallon extractor and recommend it to others.
A Bosch SDS MAX and the attachments for this vacuum removed every single dust particle on the floor, on the wall, and in the air after I drilled a 2" hole. I am amazed. Don't let the stupid auto-play part go on The attachment will lose suction when you drill a hole, or every time the drilling attachment hits the filter it will bounce back off the hole, and can slip down the wall once you are done drilling. Restart it when you are done, and you will be good to go. It's a great unit, it's incredible.
It's true that I have two of these one lives permanently under my Bosch miter saw, the other is attached to it. Meanwhile, the other one cleans up all the things that need to be done in the shop. It is a wonderful feature that activates automatically. Turns on the vacuum automatically whenever you engage an attached power tool and shuts off a few seconds after the tool is turned Besides connecting to my track saw, I also use it with my Kreg pocket hole jig and router. It does a good job of keeping dust and chips off. Despite being a little noisy, the auto filter clean system does a good job of keeping the filters Having had several Craftsman shop vacs over the years that were constantly in need of a good filter clean, I can live with the noise. * The only criticism is that one would expect Bosch to include a full set of attachments given the price.
There is one problem that I have - filter autoclean is very loud, compared to normal operation. You have to press off the autoclean button every time the vacuum is switched on and There is a loud bang when my guys forget and this disturbs my I called customer service, but they said you cannot turn this off. We're sorry to hear that. It has returned.
The purchase will be used for tile take-up and concrete grinding on a 1000 square foot area. I have used cheap shop vacuums for years, but they do not contain dust any better than this. It is imperative that you use bags when dusting with concrete if you are serious about dust containment.
