It does not come with a battery; however, it does come with a single 3Ah battery.
This is the retail version of the product. The drill is very light and easy to use. That's the equivalent of a gallon of milk in weight.
Yes, it will work well with concrete. It's the most powerful cordless drill I've ever used, but it lacks the raw power of a plug-in drill, which could be useful when working with concrete.
It's nothing more than a drill with a driver.

Makita provides excellent customer service. This drill was purchased in the third quarter of 2018 and has since been put to extensive use. Chuck became stuck (possibly as a result of my falling on the slab and it colliding with chuck). I went out and bought another, but I decided to send the broken one to the Makita Factory Service Center in Houston. The only tool required for the warranty is the warranty. The battery and charger were kept. The United States Postal Service charges a flat fee of $15. IN TWO DAYS, I RECEIVED MY REPAIR DRILL. br>br>I now own two Makita drills and am a very happy Makita customer.
OK. I'm not going to waste any more time on this one. Although it is not the most powerful drill in my collection, it has become the most frequently used drill in less than four months, and believe me, I have put this bad boy through his paces. 3 "At this time, do not mix anything above that, including wood, steel, aluminum, and other materials. " My only flaw is that I have two batteries (one BL1840B 18V LXT Lithium-Ion and one BL1840B 18V LXT Lithium-Ion). Ion 4. The battery has a capacity of 0Ah. This is the best of the bunch, and it's another 18V LXT® Lithium-Ion battery. Ion 3. Both the BL1830B 0Ah battery and the 18V LXT 18V LXT came from Amazon. This device consumes battery power, but not to the extent that it does when fully charged. My recommendation is to look at the YouTube videos to see what I'm talking about.
It's in a great location for access, but it's easy to bump while using the drill, and it occasionally pops out of gear. However, the final product is fantastic! Great power, light weight, and just the right size for those hard-to-reach places. I would strongly suggest it!.
For my home, I bought several Makita 18v tools, so I now have nine batteries and three chargers. I bought this drill motor so that I could have a second cordless drill in my toolkit. It's a fantastic piece of equipment. Three features in particular appeal to me: I like the light that comes on when you use the tool, and I like the various settings for screwing in fasteners. You can check the status of the battery charge (very helpful when starting a project), I like the light that comes on when you use the tool, and I like the various settings for screwing in fasteners. So far, the only drawback has been that I have a habit of bumping the forward-reverse button, which causes the tool to disengage when in use. I'm not sure if this is a bug in the tool or if it's just me getting used to it.
a good drill for drivers This guy can be used for a variety of purposes. It came with one battery; however, if you plan on doing larger jobs, I recommend purchasing a second battery that can be charged while the first is in use. FYI: The charger is included in this kit. This is best suited to light to medium-duty jobs, in my opinion. When it comes to the big, super-heavy jobs, Take care not to overheat this drill/driver motor. For the longest life of this drill/driver, it is beneficial to understand the proper tongue and speeds for the job at hand. Each job has a speed that is optimal for it. If you look after this machine properly, it should last a long time. When working with masonry, be careful not to get dust into the drill motor vents. This isn't meant to be used in areas where there'll be a lot of water. Always read the owner's manual before doing anything. I don't want anyone to be harmed as a result of a misapplication.
00, THEY SHOULD BE ABLE TO INCLUDE THE $2. HOLDER OF A 00 PLASTIC BIT! Sure, it's a nice drill, and I'm sure it'll solve world hunger, but for $150, you'd think these cheap-looking drills would be a lot more expensive. Makita skaters should think about including the meager $2. 00 bit- Handle accessory with a holder! After that, there's no point in looking for one. the- In fact, you'll spend hours trying to figure out whether their various bit holders are compatible with this specific drill model. It's completely absurd! Regrettably, things haven't changed much in recent years. Expect the best when you buy it, but you'll get something completely different.
It's ideal for light-duty applications. The brushless motor is very responsive, and I bought it as a backup to my other Makita 18v drill, which is starting to burn out after years of service. On speed 2, the old drill can drive 1/4" self-tap screws into steel all day. With a new 5 amp hour battery, this drill will not drive a 1/4" self-tap screw into metal on speed 2 without stalling. On speed 1, it will, but it will take longer, and the screw will almost break your wrist when it sets.
When three pieces of my drill are pressed together to form a triangle, a small hole remains where the bits go in. Is this something that happens frequently? I'm curious if yours has been used or stripped. Take a look at the image I included.
