Questions & Answers

Now that I've received two of them from Amazon, I have eight total. In the impact driver, it is noticeable that the drill bit wobbles, as is the case in the drill as well, though in a lesser extent. Do you know how common this is?

My two of these wobbly chucks were received just yesterday, primarily with the impact driver, as you said. When I put a bit in the chuck, I can already feel a wobble. In lieu of these Makita Subcompacts, did you ever find a suitable replacement? I'd originally been looking at a set of brushless Dewalts, but after hearing similar complaints about the chuck wobbling, I decided not to buy it. It is obvious from my experience from reviewing these Makita drills that they do not have this problem, which is precisely the opposite of what one reviewer claimed. In the event that you know of an alternative to these drills, please let me know. I appreciate it.

What is the deal with the 50% off item? Should we have a problem with the product, what warranty do you offer? Can you imagine getting half off at that price?

A model not as new as the newest one. Nonetheless, the light works very well and saves time. *br>In most cases, new cutting edge products do not normally come with I'm happy with mine. Taking advantage of the deal is nice. The product is available for purchase

Is it possible to find out how wide the chuck on the drill will open?

A 1/2" chuck is fitted to the drill. Half an inch will open it and it will stay open. In steel, it can drill holes up to 1/2 inch in diameter, and it can drill up to 1 inch in diameter in aluminum Wooden holes with a diameter of 7/16"

What is the 220W power rating of the charger?

As a result of the other answer, if you said 220v, you won't have a charger or battery if it is plugged in and charging.

The Makita LXT Sub-Way The 12V CXT cousins of compact tools are often confused with 12V tools
5/5

The tools appear to have been migrated from Makita's 12V Max CXT platform and have been placed on the Makita 18V platform In the process, there is a compact tool class. The engineering team at Makita has apparently learned how to retrofit an 18V LXT battery to a 12V Max CXT brushless tool after solving a "what if" scenario. There you have it. A substation powered by the 18V LXT This is the birth of Compact! These tools have many more features in common with the 12V Max CXT models than with the larger LXT units, and this review will compare the CXT and LXT models along those lines The platform should be compact. However, from a physical perspective, these 12V and 18V tools have very similar features and are nearly identical, with the exception of a few minor cosmetic differences. It thus puts to rest those misleading or downright dishonest tool website reviews that seemed to suggest that this new component was inferior to its predecessor There are some differences between Makita 12V tools and the compact class As you can see, when comparing the 18V brushless to the 12V brushless (rather than the 12V brushless), that is not the case. Features and cosmetic differences between models are at best subtle. In regard to models equipped with 18V batteries, there are slight layout differences with regard to rubber bumpers at the sides and at the very rear of the motor housing, but the all-electric models do not differ or differ at all. Its black design is inspired by the LXT sub-model A comparison with the traditional Makita teal/black color scheme appears to make these look like entirely different tools at first glance. With regard to the feature set, there's not a lot to say With the 12V tools, there is an LED work light, and the 18V tools feature two LED lights With higher battery voltage, compacts come standard with two LED sources of illumination, no doubt enabled by dual LED technology. ), a Makita feature that helps to eliminate screw cams As we drive at low speed until the impact begins, we pull out and weave across the threads. In addition to the XFD11ZB driver FD07Z comes standard with a keyless chuck that has a capacity of 3/8", while the FD07Z has a 1/2" capability. Drill) and DT04Z (impact driver) and their LXT sub-subsidiaries Compared to its compact equivalent, Regarding performance, the 18V XDT15ZB impact has 40 in-line nozzles, while the 18V XDT15ZB has 39 in-line nozzles There is more torque available on the 24V model than its 12V counterpart. Therefore, the xFD11ZB driver is to be used Among the drills that benefit most from the increase in voltage, there are two that increase their speed and torque to a rather respectable 70 inch-pounds the most common complaints I have about the FD07Z is its slow maximum rotation speed of 1500 rpm. *) Before rushing to judgment, one of the largest advantages of a 12V tool is its light weight and compact size. No one can exclude the 12V CXT models from this category There is 1 lb less weight in these tools compared to the LXT sub-200 series With two 2" wheels, it fits in any pocket. When equipped with the higher capacity 4 AH battery, they are almost 3/4 lbs lighter than the 0 AH battery. You have the option of 0 Ah. Simply stated, the CXT instruments are of the 2 lb class, and the LXT are of the 2 lb class The weight of compacts hovers around 3 pounds. The 18V LXT batteries also have a disadvantage in terms of size, and the CXT batteries are easily the best by far The smaller 18V LXT power packs are half the size of the larger ones. CXT and LXT tools both have motor housings that have a nominal 2" diameter, but it is the battery width itself that determines the size of the tool A LXT battery measures nearly 3", while a CXT battery measures somewhat less at 2 Half an inch. In other words, the CXT models are able to fit into tighter spaces than the LXT models. To conclude, I would like to say a few words. This type of tool isn't designed to drill 1/2 inch holes through 1 inch steel plate, mix mortar, or drive 3/8" x 5" lag screws repeatedly all day. In spite of this, these subfactors The power in compacts (even their 12V cousins) is sufficient when compared to popular drivers They are well suited for drills and impact drivers, and are nearly as powerful as 80-amp drills Most of the tasks associated with construction and maintenance are common. This is a great purchase for those purchasing their first 18V LXT platform, or for those having already invested in the platform. A pair of Makita BL1820B batteries sell for about $120 or so, meaning you are getting a brushless driver with the battery Rather than spending over $100 on a drill, brushless impact driver, battery charger and tool bag, you can get these for under $50. It is important to note that this tool combo cannot be matched by other deals, especially since it is not available anywhere else. However, if weight is the primary concern, or if you already have brushless CXT models and are satisfied with their performance, you should remain with the Makita CXT line.

Some final thoughts for The websites review tools are frequented by individuals who comment there. It goes without saying that even the authors themselves are unable to write. I regret (after much hand-wringing, no doubt) that this new Makita sub-system isn't as good as its predecessor Despite the compact tool category (regardless of the manufacturer), the 12V platform is in a doomsday scenario. The statement is utter nonsense, almost to the point of political rhetoric (just to hear them say it), and analogous to suggesting that the use of 18V and 20V tools negates the need for 28V or 36V or even higher voltage tools. Using the right tool for the job is really just a matter of selecting the right one. For example, some may have a Makita XPH07Z hammer drill but would never use it to install switches plate screws because it would be too noisy and overkill An easier way to accomplish this would be to use a 12V driver Simply use a screwdriver with 4V or a drill. It may be more suitable to use 18V (and higher) energy sources in large, high-power equipment Angle grinders, circular saws, SDS hammer drills, etc. are examples of tools that require a large amount of power. However, for smaller tools with lower power requirements, this may not be the case. This shows that there is no one size that fits Makita did not "renew" my trust in them, in my opinion It's not necessary to reinvent the wheel or design a new class of tool A set of their newer 12V brushless tools could be converted to 18V LXT platform, as well as some of their older products.

It is true that they are good
5/5

It's not hard for me to own Makita's 18v impact drivers and hammer A 12 volt drill I had from them was also part of my collection. In the sense that they are indeed small, my opinion is that these new "Sub Compact" drills are indeed "Sub" in the sense that they are indeed compact. As soon as I turned on the charger, the batteries required charging, and I wasn't expecting such a quick charge (I was used to using the older 3v batteries on my charger)

Power is not an issue. In a nutshell, the many online reviews are correct. These are powered to 90+ percent by their engines, but their bodies are very small in the hand. The impact driver is similar to the many 18v Blue series in the last few years, but is different in its overall shape. Compared to any other 18v drill from this company, the Driver Drill is significantly bigger. When I opened the case, I learned that the box was known as a Sub Compact. Makita users in the 18v range will be familiar with the rest of the Feels great and is easy to use. The case is not an item I care about since I work in a store. When we construct tables and benches I remove the clips to keep the clips as soft as possible around the furniture and fixtures we use. The smaller battery doesn't pose a problem Near the charger station, where I work, I'm only a few feet away. In my experience, these new drills do not accept my older 3v batteries. Perhaps I missed a few versions along the way, but no matter what, the old three-volt battery still holds charge pretty Lithium batteries are included in any Lithium-ion A score like that is not bad at all. Even though the chemistry is supposed to die out in a few years, my symptoms are still good after six years Models older than 7 years have a shorter lifespan. My batteries seemed to hold up pretty well, so I am confident they will hold up just as well in the future. These good ol' 18650 batteries never cease to amaze me. It is a bet that this kit will sell a lot. I used an impact drill and a hammer drill from the 320 range for my initial kit. The same car was purchased by a friend a few months later for a modest amount more, perhaps $3. 4? Despite the tax being charged in the states today, this was a great price. Unlike a Hammer Drill, the indexing chuck drill doesn't have a Hammer Drill. Choosing from a larger set is not a problem for me. Those who do so are in for a lot of fun. You can buy a battery that fits your existing drill and use that for tapping into brick-and-mortar on occasion, but if you want to tap people occasionally, a hammer drill is a good move. I need to keep six drills at my bench or near it. A person who's not so concerned with building might find this an excellent choice. I already know that my two blue impacts were demoted to the bottom of the concert chair arrangement ) Best of Luck to everyone

UPDATE July 9 I've been using the batteries for several projects now, so either they are an upgrade of sorts, or maybe the Direct Drive motor is a more efficient motor? Regardless of what was happening there were a few occasions when there were more than three I checked the battery level after using the device for four days on one specific project, and it was still almost full when charged. It is always great to get new batteries, but I did not expect this level of performance with the 2V size. In order to get into tight spaces on this particular job, I had to hold the drill upside down and trigger with my thumb to get into odd angles. With such a compact body, it was easy to control this time around. I'm used to using old impacts, but I'm quite happy with this one. We note a significant reduction in fatigue over the course of several hours.
