It does not include any attachments, so be cautious
4/5

It's a nice drill, but it doesn't come with an adapter for screw adapters or drill bits. br>Pretty much, if you want to use it right away, you won't be able to. To use it, you'll need more equipment first, but otherwise, it's a good drill so far.

This versatile drill/driver is ideal for a variety of tasks
4/5

in and around the house A 700 series drill/driver and one lithium-ion battery are included in the Craftsman CMCD700C1 kit. (1. ) Lithium-ion battery 3ah), as well as a power supply. br>br>It feels well balanced in the hand, weighs only 3 lbs 8 oz with the battery, and has a 280 uwh motor. br> The speeds range from zero to one hundred miles per hour. In first gear, 400 rpm and 0-100 rpm Second gear at 1500 rpm. There are numerous clutch positions to allow for the ideal setting for driving screws on any project, as well as a drill position to lock the clutch while drilling holes. When you squeeze the trigger, a bright white LED illuminates your work, and the battery has a three-LED indicator so you can see how much charge is left at the touch of a button. br>br>The Craftsman performed admirably in home maintenance tasks, even driving 3 inch deck screws into pressure treated lumber, though it struggled a little as the screws reached their full depth. br>br>This drill/driver is very capable and would be a welcome addition to any homeowner's tool box, and the majority of people will be satisfied with it. br>br>However, cordless tools have improved significantly in recent years, and prices have decreased. When comparing this Craftsman drill/driver to my DeWalt DCD777C2, it's clear that the DeWalt outperforms the Craftsman in nearly every category. br>br>The DeWalt is more compact (see photos), has a stronger, faster (brushless) motor with 340 uwh of power and 1750 RPM, comes with two batteries rather than one, and comes with a carry bag. The Craftsman is currently 79 dollars, while the DeWalt is 99 dollars as of this writing. br>br>This isn't meant to diminish the Craftsman's work - It's a fantastic piece of equipment. It's just that it's a little behind in the value wars right now. However, if you don't need a second battery or a carrying case, the Craftsman is a good $20 cheaper than the DeWalt.

You're going to be in a lot of trouble
3/5

So when I first got this, I was very excited because I'm a big Craftsman fan. The day I got it, I put the battery on the charger until it was full, put maybe 12 or 13 screws in, and drilled a couple of holes, and boom, battery's dead, and it doesn't even come with a belt hanger, which really sucks. As a big Craftsman fan, I just can't recommend this because the battery life is sucks.

It appears to be a high-quality drill at a great price
5/5

So far, I've only used it to drill four holes in studs in order to mount a television. Although it is of limited utility, it appears to function properly and there are no signs of malfunction. I did play with it for a while to make sure the holes were completely filled. What I'll say is that the battery still shows as full, so I'm not sure how one reviewer managed to deplete the battery in 13 holes. It's possible that the battery is defective. Personally, I do not believe that battery life is an issue in this case. br>br>This drill is reasonably priced; I paid $75 for a 53-piece set (drill and bits). I can't imagine it being any cheaper, and the quality appears to be good, so this is a fantastic deal. If you require additional battery life, simply purchase another battery at this price. br>br>Although this is an early review, I will update it if anything changes.

Craftsman drills are quite good
5/5

I was torn between a couple of different 20 V drivers, the Dewalt and also the craftsman, and the Makita 20 V lithium ion battery, and I ended up going with this one because I caught it during a sale time on Amazon, so I got it for a great deal, and it included the charger and the battery, whereas most waltz only include the tour itself or the bare tool have a call-back number. It has a great battery indicator in the back and you have to buy a battery and a charger separately, so this was a good find. I definitely recommend it.

Drill is quite good
5/5

I've had several Craftsman drills, saws, and other tools over the years, and they've all worked well. I got this one a few days ago just to have an extra drill or two, three, ok four on hand, and I used it to drill several holes in a 4x4 for a project, 18 in total, with a 5/16 spade bit. It worked just as well as one of my Milwaukee drills, with the exception of having to replace the battery. Will it last as long as some of my older Craftsman corded drills? We'll see how it goes, but so far I'm pleased with how this one has performed. For around $72, this kit included a drill, a battery, and a battery charger. 00, while Lowes sells the drill alone for around the same price.

I'm so happy I chose this drill! Prior to this one, he stomped all over my Walmart drill
5/5

There is plenty of power to get things done around the house. It is also quick to charge. I like how the light stays on after you let go of the trigger for a few seconds. Without turning the drill, you can see how to align a Phillips head bit.

If you need a drill for your home, this is the drill to get
5/5

No, you won't be able to build a house with this drill. This drill, on the other hand, is fantastic if you want a solid drill with a light, long battery life, and a good lightweight feel. Only wish there was a place to put the bit, but the light and battery/charger are great. This is a must-have for light at-home entertaining. home use!.
