When specifying the bore, what do you need to know? Could it also be adapted to 3/4" and 1/2"?

There is a 3/4" bore coupled to a 1/2" reducer.

When you purchase an item, how do you specify the bore?

Reducers come in 1/2 inch sizes with 3/4 inch bores.

Can the cutter get a clean cut on 3/4" material using the exact same depth or should the cutter be oversized enough?

You can shim it upwards if you would like it larger. I think it's exactly 3/4, but you can shim it. If you use 3/4-inch material, you can get a nice, clean cut.

Shims are cheap, so buy extras! There is sloppiness in the joint

There is too much looseness in this joint! I was very disappointed with this cutter and should have ordered extra shims. It is the buyer's responsibility to be aware of the price at which they are purchasing.

If the bearing is to loose you have to use the shims, which will either burn the wood or yield a loose bearing

My first step was to mill the grooves for the rails and stiles of 6 cabinet doors before moving on to the end tongues for A big problem with the fit is that it is There is a small gap between the sliders, so you can easily slide them in and out. It's important that the glue has space to work, but I think this is far Getting frustrated is a bad experience. In order to return the item, I will contact Amazon. At this point, I'm not sure what I'll do with all my maple rails and stiles.
