BLACK+DECKER Screwdriver Bit Set / Drill Bit Set, 109-Piece (BDA91109)

Every time the guys at work see it for the first time, they all say how cool it is. "This looks like a nice set," and so on. br>br>Which is exactly what I thought when I ordered these. I should've realized what I was getting myself into. B is the correct spelling. After all, D is a character. br>br>The tips are very easily worn out. The ones that come with a box of screws and are provided for free are preferable. They were even better than the ones I bought from ACE Hardware (their own brand). br>br>THE BITES ARE NOT AT ALL DURABLE. I've shattered a few without causing any harm. And after a few months, everything started to rust. As a result, this is a set I would never buy or recommend. br>br>IN ADDITION, the piece is also counted- Within the case, count refers to a bin of sheet metal screws. Shame on me if I overlooked that information in the product description. However, a significant portion of what you're purchasing is of poor quality. screws of good quality.

I gave this 5 stars because you get what you pay for, you get a nice case for 14 bucks and a bit set, they aren't high quality but they give you the opportunity to see which bits you will use the most and upgrade them to higher quality without spending a lot of money on a set with high quality bits that you will never use, I bought this with that in mind and if you are expecting anything more from a 14 dollar set, you will be disappointed. That's because you're a moron!.

I'll preface this review by admitting that I'm not an expert on tools. All I know is that I required basic tools in order to complete household tasks. This was inexpensive, the tools appear to be of good quality, and I can complete almost all of my tasks with it. The hex tool, which is used in a lot of ikea products, was the only thing missing. That was a bummer. I've included images of all of the tools included in the kit so you can see them all.

I don't usually write reviews quickly because I prefer to wait and see how things develop over time, but I've noticed that I haven't written any in a while, so I figured I'd start now. I placed an order for the Black Around Christmastime, I bought a Decker drill but never got around to ordering the drill set. I had some plywood up and needed it down quickly after Hurricane Irma hit Miami, and I couldn't wait for my neighbor or some guy with a drill to come by, so I remembered my trusty Black and Decker drill. I had forgotten I had purchased a Decker. So Prime placed an order for this bit set and was overjoyed when it arrived. Wow, a woman who is ecstatic to get her hands on a tool set. To remove the Tapcon screws, I required the Hex bit. I'm proud to say that I was able to remove five pieces of plywood on my own! It was nice not to have to call anyone or wait in the plywood darkness for a change. I did notice that with the Black and Decker drill, I had to re-set it every time I used it. the bit is tightened and inserted Tightening was not difficult once I realized what was going on. I also tried using a regular Phillips head on it, which worked fine. I don't know much about drilling, but I'm happy with the assortment and the cute case it comes in so far. Mine close perfectly, and the bits are perfectly positioned in their slots. On a related note, I'd like to mention the Black Panthers. I charged my Decker drill at Christmas and then forgot about it until I pulled it out a week ago and was surprised to find it still charged! When the sets are on sale, I believe they are a good value for small household items. 👍.

The good news is that This is an EXTREMELY thorough and complete guide. set that is highlighted There isn't a driver or drill bit in this set that you won't find useful, and I especially appreciated the fact that it includes very small-sized drill bits. Many kits, particularly all-in-one kits, include gauge drill bits. One cordless drill kit is not included in the package. The bad news is that: br>br> The drill bits, in particular, are EXTREMELY difficult to remove from the molded plastic form tray that holds them! In fact, unless you come up with a workaround to keep you from immediately returning this set for a refund, I don't see how you can remove the drill bits without slicing your fingertips to ribbons in the process. This is because the bits are secured in the tray in such a way that you must pull them out by the business end rather than the chuck end to remove them, and those bit blades are SHARP! I found a very small slotted (flat) head screwdriver in my toolbox, about 4 1/4" long with a 1/8" blade, that I could fit into one of the open recesses in the plastic tray for storage inside the kit box as a workaround to this critical design flaw. This tool is used to insert under the drill bit of choice and lever it free from the plastic's vise-like grip. This set isn't for you if this doesn't sound like something you'd want to do every time you need to pick a drill bit! br>br>Three stars only because the battery of bits and drivers is fully charged. Otherwise, it would be a one-star rating due to the difficulty of removing the bits.

For daily use, invest in a higher-quality set. I haven't had much opportunity to play with the set yet, but I do have some observations. It offers a lot of variety for the money, with plenty to get you through most situations. However, you get what you pay for in terms of the quality of the individual pieces, which is good but not great. Only one clasp on my hardshell case worked properly when it arrived, so I'm not optimistic about the case's future durability. br>br>If you plan on using the bits on a regular basis, such as for home repairs or a random project, they should be fine; if you're a hobbyist or plan to use them every day, consider investing more money in a more durable set. They're ideal for what I'm looking for!.

B&D - The price is low, and the quality is low. Until I needed to use them, I thought it was a nice little carrying case and assortment of drill bits. After my equally crappy B, I attempted to drill through 3" of dried fir with the 1/8" bits, and not one but TWO bits broke off while attempting to twist them out. The bits kept falling out of the D cordless drill chuck, which was stripping out. What you pay for is exactly what you get. I've had enough of cheap Black and Decker garbage. Spend the additional funds on higher-quality equipment.
