Questions & Answers

Is this compatible with a Craftsman lithium-ion battery? 320 is the model number for a 16-volt lithium-ion battery. 11208?

It should work with any drill chuck that can be adjusted.

Is it possible to use them with a Craftsman hammer drill?

It is POSSIBLE to use these for most hammer drills, but they would most likely break much more quickly because they were not designed for that. For use with standard drills, this drill bit set is ideal.

Where can I get the 85-piece drill/drive set for the Versastack system that Lowe's advertises?

That set is the only one I've seen at Lowe's. The smaller sets will stack on your storage boxes and lock together. On the big box, it won't lock.

If you use a short driver bit in the carrier's deep end, you'll have to do some extra work
3/5

So I was hoping that this would save me time. br>1) The set screws are drilled all the way through, making it difficult to screw into the carrier. br>2) The set screws are drilled all the way through, making it difficult to screw into the carrier. The allen wrench that comes with it goes all the way through the set screw, making it difficult to tighten it. br>2) Due to the carrier's magnetization, both set screws had fallen into it and were extremely difficult to remove. I also left one in my office, which I have yet to locate. It'd never be found on a construction site. 3) LAST BUT NOT LEAST The side of the carrier where the drill enters is deep and long (L in my photo). If you accidentally put a small driver bit in there, like I did, it will slam all the way to the bottom due to the magnetic field, making it nearly impossible to remove. After about 20 minutes of attempting to remove it, I went to my shop and ground down the diameter of the phillips end of a screw so that it would fit onto the driver and down into the carrier. I carefully applied a small drop of super glue to the phillips head of the screw before inserting it into the carrier. After that, I inserted the screw into the carrier's driver bit. I pulled it out with a lot of force after waiting 30 minutes for the glue to dry. This thing has a very strong magnetic field. I had hoped for a more foolproof (me) design. This is something I haven't used yet. I'll update this review as soon as I've completed it. I enjoy a good challenge, so I'm sure everything will work out in the end. However,.

It accomplishes what it sets out to do
5/5

The first one I bought had a lot of gaps in it. It seemed as if half of the parts were missing. br>br>Because the replacement is brand new to me, I can't comment on its durability, but it is SBD-compatible. The Sears-branded craftsman (which was rebranded and transferred from Dewalt branding) does not appear to be as durable as the Sears-branded craftsman. Craftsman predecessor, which was made in the United States. br>Unfortunately, wearout parts for the Sears Craftsman model are much more difficult to come by. a higher cost of acquisition; For the price of replacement bits and blades for the previous version, I can get this entire SBD kit. br>I've added it to my toolbox and ordered two extra barrels from SBD parts so that I can swap bits without having to change out the set-up. screws. br>For those interested, the old version is still available from the manufacturer franding, Rockler, and possibly other places.

Set that isn't up to snuff and won't hold up to everyday use in the home
3/5

I bought this set to make switching from a drill bit to a Phillips bit as easy as possible. I had to return the first set because one of the Phillips bits had been lured deep into one of the slots by the magnet for one of the extenders during transit, and I couldn't get it out. The new set was a letdown: The set screws for one of the extenders did not hold the Phillips bit in place, and no matter how tight I tightened the screw, the bit continued to rotate in the drill. The set's concept is sound, but it is worth noting that it does not include a flat head bit. More importantly, the set is fragile and unsuitable for everyday household tasks such as constructing raised garden beds or attaching solar electric fence components to posts.

I'm a little disappointed because I have a lot of craftsman tools that are all made in the United States, but these bits are made in China

There are no "drill" bits in the kit - Screwdrivers are the only tools you'll need
3/5

I'm embarrassed that I didn't pay attention to what I was purchasing. I was looking for drill bits, which are the tools used to make holes. br>The product description is misleading because it includes every type of screwdriver bit imaginable, but not a single DRILL bit. br>br>Unfortunately, if I want to poke holes in things, I'll have to make another purchase. I hope this helps someone else avoid making the same mistake I did.

It's a great collection of useful items for my needs, and it's also very well organized! Anyone can sell a collection of driver bits, but this one meets my needs perfectly without the need for additional one-time purchases

off bits. br>br>In addition, the carrying case neatly organizes them, and the transparent cover allows me to quickly identify which one I want. I'm extremely pleased with the results.

From beginning to end, Before me, whoever put things together on the farm used five different types of screw heads
5/5

on every single thing and on the same boards as a group. When it came to taking down boards to replace or repair them, this kit/collection of bits in a secure closing box kept me from losing my mind. This is the most useful addition to my toolbox (and travel bucket of tools) that I've ever had!.

For the price, this is a great set! I'm a Craftsman guy who still has his hand tools made in the United States of America
4/5

I also have a few tools from the V20 line. I bought it as soon as I saw it on sale. The box is excellent; it is extremely sturdy and can be "stacked" with other boxes. This kit has a lot of variety in terms of the number of bits you get. My only reason for deducting a star is that when I tried to drill into pine with standard wood drill bits, I broke three of them pretty quickly. I'm hoping it's just a bad set of wood bits because the rest of the set looks great. worth it. I'm still a Craftsman, but my wood bits are in bad shape.
