Questions & Answers
Grizzly's G0771 hybrid tablesaw is compatible with this blade. The answer to another question says it doesn't have leveling screws -- I'm not sure of their meaning. There are screws in the regular insert securing it to the saw, and this insert has holes to access those same screws so that it can be leveled with the tabletop. The kit does not include screws because there is no need for What is already part of the saw can be used.
There is no reason to do that
Looking at the photos on the HD web site and the owners manual, it appears that the throat plates are different shapes. While the R4512 plate appears to have round ends, the R4517 plate appears to have square
As far as I know, this insert is only designed for the R4512, and I do not believe it fits any other saws.

My Ridgid R-114 table saw is equipped with a Leecraft table saw insert. Maybe that's why I purchased it for my Ridgid R-114 This table saw has the model number 4512. My initial impression when I opened the package was that the product was of very good quality and very well built. I followed the clear instructions provided by Leecraft, and installed the insert. I did use painters tape over the soon to be cut line just as a precaution in case any tears will occur. There is a significant difference in quality between this strong well-made insert and the flimsy thin metal insert that comes stock on the R-type. In 4512, day and night are two sides of the same coin. I went from a hit and miss accuracy to 99 now that I've used the Leecraft insert. You're dead on with 9 percent! Compared to the stock metal insert that bends when you cut a dado or makes a cut when thin pieces are smaller than it, this insert is stiff and does not bend when cutting thin pieces. Some of you read mine, so I know you're interested in this Owners of the 4512 are familiar with the frustration that I am describing. This product is of excellent quality. I ordered another insert for dice the same day after seeing first hand its quality. In my budget, I did not have a second insert. But I just had to do it. It is hard to describe just how happy I am with my table saw and its accuracy post insert. Another important aspect of this insert is that it has two back out screws under the lip, allowing you to back out the screws until you get a custom fit without slop or wiggle. Furthermore, all of the adjustment holes have already been drilled, so it will be very easy for you to level the insert. With the thin stock insert, it was always a nightmare to level as well as possible. In light of this, I wish to share this with other woodworkers so that they can increase the accuracy of their cuts. A third Leecraft insert will also be zeroed for 45°, and I will make another one at the end of the week. You can't get any better than this, In addition to Leecraft inserts for table saws, you can also purchase inserts for other brands. As much as I would be able to give it ten stars, I would. It is without a doubt one of the best products you can buy!.
I am very pleased with the quality and craftsmanship of this shirt, the fit is awesome, and the functional aspects are I have finally found what I have been searching for and needing. You only need to use some painters tape to get a perfect chip instead of following the directions exactly An edge free of constraints. It is excellent and I'm 100% satisfied with the purchase. I also bought a dado insert because the one I purchased is so good. For those involved in woodworking, or for those just upgrading their table saws as a general upgrade, this tool is highly recommended. As it should have been delivered by the manufacturer, the R4512 should look like this.
I placed it on the saw, clamped it down, then put a piece of plywood along the blade. It took me a while to realize what had happened until the insert itself started shattered and flew across the shop when I brought up the spinning blade. How do we solve it? Make sure you stand off to the side of your blade so that you don't have to worry about any stupid mistakes impacting your sternum at high speeds). I bought the second one right and did not repeat the same mistakes as I had made with the first one. This is a great thing. The cleaner cuts allow me to keep more debris in the saw instead of on the table, and it allows me to keep more dust collected in the saw. I recommend this book highly!.
I was a little disappointed that the area for the riving knife was not quite wide enough, and this is why I gave it 4 stars and not 5. At the same time I am raising the blade, I find that the riving knife grabs the plate and lifts it up. There is a need to widen the slot for the riving knife so it does not But it's not a big deal since you can just push the plate back down before starting the saw and you won't have to worry about it since as long as you don't lower the blade too far while cutting, it will be fine all day long. As a result of this problem, you should not install the riving knife when making the initial cut through the zero-point This clearance insert is for the clearance aisle.
This was purchased to use with my Ridgid 4512 table saw, and I have a few observations to share. It is the bottom that is shown in the photo on the website. Flat and of the same color as the orange Ridgid uses on its tops. in order to achieve a clean slot, use a board across the top of the slab as shown in the instructions. Also, don't go too slowly when cutting the slot or else you'll I was able to clear the smoke when I sped up. As soon as the guide is installed, be sure to adjust the front screws as specified on the sticker on the bottom of the guide in order to eliminate any movement. In order for the crosscut sled to function, I made cuts for runners and fences after I had the insert properly installed. A diablo 40t multi purpose blade worked just fine with the zero clearance. I noticed that using the insert harmed the dust collection and resulted in a lot of sawdust falling on my back. This is due to the fact that no slot has been created below the blade for sawdust to enter a vacuum chute. This is a sturdy, well designed product, with neat little adjustment touches to mask the sawdust and ensure it fits tightly and level inside. So if you follow the instructions and don't mind a little sawdust, this is a quality product that works well.
