Thank you for reaching out to me! My name is Lindsey and I work as a PROTOCOL Equipment Online Sales Specialist. Thanks. There is no doubt the design is similar, yet it seems to have actually changed from what I noticed. Although they are a little stiffer than stock Ryobi brackets, they still provide an array of Though I've seen pictures of Ryobi brackets with handles attached (there are holes in exactly the same spots as in the pictures), mine was lacking them. These handles are a nice addition to the aftermarket brackets for someone like me who wants to remove what is on their stand frequently. I will probably try to source some for my Ryobi brackets as well. The tool storage system also includes an extra latch that wraps around the back bar for an extra measure of There is a lot of "grab" in these, and they are very snuggly and adjustable but having an extra layer of traction One of the most amazing features of this tool is an optional set of offset brackets for tools that don't have mounting points that are perfectly centered The front to the back line. These brackets have a GREAT feature the Ryobi brackets do not have, and it makes it easier to mount obscure objects. The Ryobi stand or any stand that would fit it would be highly recommended if you use these brackets. These brackets cost less than half as much as Ryobi brackets, and they have a better feature set!.
It was possible to adjust the rail to fit perfectly with the existing rails because of the adjustment provided. A high degree of quality was achieved. Upon receiving the rail, you must mount the side handles (also shipped inside for compactness and protection), as well as adjust the fixed jaw by means of an integral adjustment screw to fit the rail interval perfectly.
This item will replace the handles on my Ryobi miter saw stand that were broken so I bought both of them from this store. It is impossible to close the red handle once the brackets were installed due to their tight fittings. Despite the fact that my miter saw still feels secure in these mounts, the point of this product is to work, and it doesn't. The red handles can't be pushed down and closed completely, so the miter saw isn't completely secured in the red handles. Because this mount is not universal, please keep that in mind for your safety.
I purchased these to allow me to use a Kobalt miter saw stand as a platform to use my Evolution chop saw and Dewalt chopsaw. As soon as the clamps were adjusted, they worked well. The quality is pretty good and the price is also very reasonable. We plan to purchase another set so we can make a small clamp-on table as has been suggested by others.
As a result of the mitre- It has been an outstanding experience to see stand by Protocol in action. A solid foundation. Another set of brackets would be perfect for the next project We have a mitersaw on site. In my plan, I would only move the stand between the two locations. Although these brackets have the same Model number as those in the picture, they do not match the picture (Amazon has now confirmed this). There is no longer a 6" side handle on JS Products saws because it is falsely believed that they assist with moving the saw. The Hitachi 12" sliding saw I have is quite heavy and requires these handles to be lifted and set up. It was impossible for me to purchase or get As a result, I will mount the smaller miter saw on this pair and mount the Hitachi miter saw on the more complete setup (originally included with the stand). A very good product. This model includes two small metal "tool holders" on each side and bars that allow the brackets to be extended.
There is a difference between this clamp and the original Sears clamp in that it is shorter. A security feature is added to prevent accidental release by hooks added to the grip and build. I highly recommend the vendor My experience with the company was top notch and I received first-class service.
It is made of good I bought them as a second set of Miter saw blades to go with the Kobalt saw stand because I use both fixed and sliding Metabo miter saws Compared to the originals, they work better! Once the back bolt is adjusted, it fits perfectly. I would recommend these.
