This was exactly what I needed to get my DeWalt miter saw to work properly. I had assumed I had misplaced the original. That is exactly what I did. However, this strong metal, which is sturdy and fits, is all that is required. br>br>However, I believe I could have gotten a generic one that would have worked just as well for a little less money.

I have three different DeWalt mitre saws, and one of them was lost or misplaced. I'm a purist when it comes to tools, and I prefer everything to be in the same condition as when I bought it. When you're on the road and need to change the blade, this is a great tool to have on hand. Especially with this 20v Mitre saw, which is small and portable.

I got by for a while using standard hand tools after the one that came with my saw got lost on a job site, but I finally broke down and got the replacement because having the two tools in one right with the saw is much more convenient.

It's great, but don't use it with screws that are too tight

It works fine, but don't try to loosen old Torx screws that are locked down; my new wrench twisted off the tip. I was able to ground and file it off without affecting its functionality. I used a high-quality socket to loosen all of the necessary Torx screws, and the wrench now functions properly; I still like it because it is so handy with the end hole for storage.
