I'm sorry, but I'm not sure. I always keep it open.
16" x 31" appears to be the maximum size.
It is painted STEEL tubing, not any type of aluminum tubing. A magnet sticks to it just fine, and there are no aluminum parts on this stand at all.
It should fit my off-brand miter saw without issue because the base is adjustable.

It can also be used as a base for a basic shopsaw and is simple to transport back to the garage. I couldn't use my new mitersaw because the holes for tightening it down wouldn't let me insert bolts (they weren't lined up for that saw). I was a little disappointed because it was advertised as being compatible with all saws. It's a game of chance. Still, it's a well-made product. The only issue I had was that one of the tube openings for the handle was slightly flattened (transit, at the company?). ), so the round end of the handle wouldn't go in; I simply pounded it out, and the handle slid in. Overall, I am very pleased.
Great product, but terrible service from Construction Tool; it arrived missing parts that they could not provide after 40 days of emails promising they would; on top of that, they are not an authorized dealer, so there is no lifetime warranty; they left me with one option after failing to do what they said was to disassemble, find a box (yes, they had been told I had gotten rid of the box when this started); and then package up and ship it. Be wary of the buyer!.
On fold-out, it's just a little 'clunky. ' up, but not to the point of being obnoxious. It's quite stable, and the large wheels are a nice feature. It helps me with my 12-year-old son. inch DeWalt 790 miter saw, which was easily installed on the arms. Overall, it's about as good a compromise between function and form as one could hope for, and the list price is a bit of a joke because it's always on sale. Even so, it's not exactly a bargain. If you want utility and convenience at a reasonable price, get one, set it up, and go. (Now, take care of those fingers. ).
It's an absolutely fantastic cart that's well-made and simple to put together. The cart is also simple to assemble (with the help of a heavy saw), roll around, and collapse. br>br>Moving the cart around is a breeze thanks to the large wheels, and there are no steps to contend with.
It was simple to put together this item. Even though some of the instructions were unclear, it was still simple to put together. One pipe end had been slightly bent during transit, but I pried it out with a breaker bar and it went together without difficulty. It functions admirably. It's simple to open and close. Mounting my new DeWalt 12" compound miter saw on it was a breeze. It has given me a lot of pleasure.
I purchased this on Amazon, but it was delivered to me by Home Depot. The best price is from HD Direct, but since they were the seller at the time, I got it for their online price (around 200). I'm very happy with everything about this stand; it was simple to put together and it works flawlessly. It's a lot more convenient than lugging around my saw! Rolling over any terrain is easy thanks to the large wheels. I am overjoyed!.
It's a little amusing, actually. First and foremost, the product is satisfactory; however, I have made my decision. My craftsman mitre saw will be perfect for the cutting I do if I set it up. What about the accompanying instructions? Not in the least. I swear the steps from one picture to the next were 'backwards. ' At the end of the day, it was all common sense, but it was also funny.
It's a perfect little stand, and I love that it has wheels and extends out.
