Questions & Answers

Do you think the V120 & V27 can be compared directly?

As far as I know, the V120 is the only one I am familiar with. I do have some comments to make about the V120, however. It consists of a plane across which the object to be cut is located, with a high point in the center. To solve the problem, it might be possible to attach a piece of wood that is relieved in the middle. Another issue is that the rod that slides in the groove on the saw surface needs to fit tight enough to allow the saw to cut precisely. Despite my best efforts, the provided system of expanding plastic disks is too hard to adjust. At one point, I removed each disk and cut through it. There are still obstacles to overcome despite the difficulties, but they can be overcome. It works well to adjust the angular cut and lock the clamp.

Do you think this fits directly on to Is that okay?

The answer is yes. Taking the small tab off the end will ensure it will fit in a router table. If you use a Phillips head screwdriver, it will stay in place. The tab there is about 4 mm wider than the groove normally found in the Using the 745 groove as a guide, the rest of the rod fits

Do you have any experience using this with a Dewalt DWE7480 saw? What do you think about that saw? Is it a good choice?

My tool of choice is the Dewalt DW745 and I use an Incra 1000 miter gauge to operate The software works well. A lot better than the junk it came with.

The MiterV120 Miter Gauge from Incra will it work with the Bosch Router Table RA1181?

However, I agree. In contrast, the Bosch RA1181 miter slot is significantly wider than 3/4 inches. Since it's more like 25/32, you'll have to wrench down the adjustable fasteners on the Incra Miter V120 to spread out the nylon spacers.

Teeth made of stamped steel for a very low price
3/5

I was very pleased with my initial impressions. After the expansion washers are adjusted, the miter slot will fit tightly. Aux fence made from QS white oak was added as well as the fence squared to the Following this, square the fence to the blade with the help of five cuts. It was zero when I dialed it in. The thickness of an inch is . 03". I bumped the fence with a board when trying to move the board to the saw when the miter gauge was mounted in the saw the next day. It did not strike me as a big deal. It is normal for bumps and knocks to occur in a It is not like the object fell onto The bump is just a small one. It took me a while to realize my cuts were off square, I cannot believe how cheap this stamped steel is on this gauge! The incredible thing is that I am Keeping things in order is part of my job. In my field, I maintain, service, and keep equipment, tools, and vehicles for a lifetime. I don't hesitate to pay triple and quadruple for items that are built to last. This, my friends, is not built to last. I'm confident that at some point you'll bump this miter gauge, and the thin stamped steel teeth will bend or chip. You will be affected by the same thing that happened to me so quickly. There is no doubt in my mind.

Measures miter angles with a functional The problem is
3/5

The purpose of my purchase was for the wide range of angle increments that this Incra V120 offered (I needed this feature for purposes that required the broadest range of angle degrees). I was able to adjust the miter slot settings for the month of using it in a good way. The reason for the two stars is that the quality of the stamped steel detents is sub-par, and we believe that it should be rated two stars. The following paragraphs. One of my worktables fell and the miter fell onto the floor A total of 18 inches of shelves. There is just no getting around this. The 90 degree notch (which is arguably the setting we use for crosscuts 95 percent of the time) was destroyed. This expensive miter gauge is therefore As long as I don't abuse or misuse the equipment, I don't think twice about replacing It is expected that shop equipment such as this one will take a bump or two, especially at this price. There is no reason to recommend this miter gauge in particular.

I need to soften up my nylon washers! It was only a matter of tightening up the split washers to get rid of However, the nylon itself is very hard and not very flexible, even though they have a split
5/5

When I first attempted to move the washer, it did not move easily, so I put them in a bowl of boiling water for a few minutes and then resumed the process. Thank you! I got the result I wanted! As a precaution, I dried them off really well to avoid rusty screws, and I added a drop of grease on the threads just in case I would need to adjust for a different saw later. The plotter itself was square and true right out of the package, which was a pleasant surprise. The Miter Gauge I've been using so far has been good. It gets a 4 out of 5. This score is 75 out of 100. You'll enjoy it.

It is time for the GlideLOCK miter bar expansion disk system to be fixed
4/5

It was eBay itself that sold me the INCRA MiterV120 Miter Gauge in June 1013. In my opinion, the gauge is made with a good quality of steel due to its low price. My impression of the paper was that it was thick and did not feel fragile in any way. Yet, there is still room for improvement with GlideLOCK's expansion disk system. An INCRA miter gauge video can be found on YouTube under the title "INCRA Miter Gauge-Forging Process" Incratools is the social media account of INCRA, the company behind the "Complete Version". They show you how to adjust the GlideLOCK system for the first time at around 2 mins 35 seconds into the video, and in the subsequent video the system seems to adjust effortlessly. Having said that, when I tried to adjust the gauge I received, it was nowhere near being intuitively easy to make adjustments. To expand the plastic washers, you turn the screw to expand the washers. According to the instructions that come with the gauge, this requires a lot of torque. Clearly, it was not made to endure the torque I was applying to it to allow me to barely turn the screw, and even with the little amount of movement I was getting, it did not increase It is designed so that as you turn the adjustment screw clockwise, the plastic washer with a cut in it presses down on the screw. The washer begins splitting apart at the cut in it as you crank the screw down. With each split washer, it starts to bend out more, which is what increases the bar's width and allows you to remove any slack in the bar as the washer and track separate. I was not seeing anything happen when I turned down on my gauge. My screw head was beginning to strip to the point that I could tell it would eventually break off. It is no secret to those of you who have stripped the head of a screw Towards the end of the process of stripping out the screw head, there gets to be a small amount of play that occurs. To discover what was happening, I removed the screw and washer there and took a look. As I mentioned earlier, under the washer there is some rough machining which is likely causing friction on the washer, preventing it from being able to "split apart" which is what this system is all about. You can see what I am talking about in the picture I uploaded. When you're looking at the gauge, the point with the degree readings should be next to your body and the other side pointed away from you. This way you'll also be able to see where the cut in the washer should be. It is best to position the washer cut at the edge of the circular cutout it rests in just before the circular cutout turns into You can see what I am talking about in the picture I uploaded. My solution was to coat the plastic washer in silicone grease to compensate for the rough machining. I was able to make it so that when I turned the adjustment screw I actually saw the washer bending out, which in turn allowed the gauge to fit well in the track of my table saw by using a combination of grease and realigning the washer cutout. There is still a lot of resistance in the adjustment, but not to the point where I felt like I was going to strip the screw head. This product will now receive a 4 star rating from me. This is due to a -1 star reduction. In the product review, 1 star is deducted for the GlideLOCK system adjustment of not working properly. As a result if I did not implement the fixes I mentioned, I am confident that I would have stripped the hex adjustment screws if I followed the instructions to the letter. I went through the process myself therefore there should be a better way to ensure that others don't have to go through it.

The INCRA MiterV120 Miter Gauge allows you to cut even metal with ease
5/5

The toss should be replaced Whenever possible, a miter gauge needs to be included with the table. Miter V120 Miter Gauge is a beautiful piece of equipment. A miter gauge or mitre gauges included with any table saw is always an indication of its weak point, so beyond an impressive saw blade like the Forrest, this Miter Gauge updates any good tablesaw into a real After you have adjusted the blade to be true to the table, and then confirmed that it was square to the miter slot, you will have a precision tool that you can use as needed. You should also consider the INCRA Telescoping Flip Fence 18" to 31", as well as the INCRA FLIPSHOPSTOP Adjustable Dual, FLIP-FREEZING design. If you add the Shop Stop Positioner (only for the Flip Fence), you'll be able to achieve remarkably efficient productivity at the highest level. It is crucial that the finely detailed, specialized frames I use to make queen mating boxes are accurate. I have found that INCRA's tablesaw tools make my special construction projects as smooth and high quality as melting butter on warm toast. INCRA makes the best add-on tools that are so essential for the discerning Incra has been a great partner!.
