The likelihood of this is high
Thanks for writing to me, Fati. *br>The DW7028 has not been tested for this There are no recommendations we can make, unfortunately.
It's made of steel plated with chrome. It should be okay as long as it doesn't get wet and you don't let it dry afterwards. If it does get wet, and you don't wipe it dry, then rust may develop.
It is true that only one support is needed

This review is being written to let you know that the problem appears to have since been resolved. Two of these arrived today (2/16/16) with model stickers marked "Type 3," and they do extend 37" directly from the ground to the bottom of the support surface, which is more than enough for 29" tall. The extension arms of the DWX723 stand will extend 5" higher than the stand itself. To clarify, however, these supports will extend 7". I am not bothered by the older reviews and their low ratings because this product is 5" taller than the bottom surface of the extension arms on my stand. I would not hesitate to purchase this product now to anyone who is still concerned. As I discussed in this review, I am adding photos to illustrate the maximum height of the support arms next to the DWX723.
With these supports installed on the stand, the extension arms are extremely solid under my body weight. A downward flexing of the extension arms is not present. It shouldn't be a problem to use heavier lumber. In addition to collapsing to a fairly small size, the supports are also easy to store.
The arm support is decent, although I don't like the way it clamps to the arm, and it would be better with a diagonal brace between the arms. If your stand is bumped or moved at all, it needs to be checked.
I especially like the support arm for our Dewalt miter saw stand. The ends bend down when we use heavier stock so I like having this support arm available. I was surprised that the locking mechanism was not just a plastic knob with a screw in it, but it worked.
recommend two of these if you are going to buy a dewalt miter saw stand. While the length seems to be fixed, a lot of people complain about them, but they function well and are necessary for trim work on something like a 10 foot board. When I use a saw, I generally prefer to pick an area that is level, which may make them too short if the ground is uneven. The dewalt miter saw stands can be easily complemented by this piece. It is essential for at least one dewalt miter stand, but I would recommend buying two. So don't limit the use of your awesome stand if you are not sure how long or heavy the next thing you will need to cut will be!.
I have a DWX723 mitre saw stand (the full size one that extends out to 150"), and I My 12" Milwaukee compound slider fits nice on it as it's well built, solid, and does an excellent job of holding it in place. The saw is not a lite one. Often, I have to cut lumber or mouldings measuring 12' or longer, so the extension is nice but sometimes needs extra support when it is extended all the way out to support double-sized The stands I bought are short, so I thought that if they are short I could put a support under them to make them taller. When they arrived, I put them in place on the stand and they were perfectly positioned. There's no way I can tell if Dewalt has changed them since they wrote the other reviews but it seems they have corrected the problem, as these extensions add nice support to the extensions now. The support will not adjust if you are on uneven ground or if you need to put something under it as there is no way for minor adjustments to be made if needed. I am very happy with the support leg. Overall, it would be nice to have this improvement to the support. Despite not being a big Dewalt fan, I have been finding yellow stuff in my truck more and more within the last few years. It certainly appears that they are making improvements and innovations to their products, and the quality is improving much more than it has in the past.
I purchased them to prevent the sliding horizontal extensions from sagging. Easily installed and functional, they deliver exactly what they're supposed to.
Using these for precision is not a good idea. A number of adjustments are difficult, and the connection is fragile.
Must have accessory for the DeWalt miter saw stand. Keeps the extensions from sagging when cutting decking or heavy wood. The price is a little high for what you get, but it is still well Though the product is made in China, I wish it was made in the United States.
