According to what I've read, the tire diameter should be 2" smaller than the wheel diameter to avoid slipping. So, for my 12" wheel, I'd need a 10" tire. Could you please assist me?

If your band saw is 12 inches in diameter, then a 12 inch band saw tire will suffice! Of course, other factors such as width must be considered!

I'm not sure what it fits, but the urethane tires I bought (the one on the drive motor) wore out after about 10 hours of use. And, yes, they did fit the way they were supposed to. I've put the black rubber tires on the saw now, and it's been running for several hours; you get what you pay for.

Is this compatible with the Craftsman model 11324350? Does it fit even though it isn't listed as a model?

I'm not sure what model number they are, but they fit my 12in craftsman. Band saw.

Bandsaw tires made of orange urethane! My 30-year-old house is being remodeled

Bandsaw from the Craftsman era I decided to upgrade to urethane tires, and a Google search of my model number yielded these results. I was concerned that putting them on would be difficult. They aren't as long as you consider your actions. It's like putting a bicycle tire on a rim, in my opinion. Two spring clamps and two Phillips screwdrivers should suffice. I soaked mine in hot water for a few minutes before drying them and putting them on. As you pull the tires on, use the spring clamps on each side to secure them. Stretch it onto the wheel with the screwdrivers. My bandsaw is now sporting those lovely orange tires! Aside from that, they're just bandsaw tires that do their job. There are videos of people installing urethane bandsaw tires if you search for them on YouTube. Added: br>br> Check that the tires are completely seated in the wheel depressions. I had a strange squeaky noise that I hadn't managed to get into a three or four inch section of the groove. I eased the blade into place by loosening it.

Tires that are good

They're a lot better than the rubber ones I had previously. Bandsaw tires that are in good condition. My rims have a diameter of 12 inches. I let these tires sit in the sun for about an hour before stretching them out with my hands and putting them on. They were so easy to put on that I assumed they were the wrong size because all of the reviews said they were difficult to put on. I removed the wheels and relied solely on my hands and a screwdriver to complete the task.

Fix that is both cheap and effective

On my old 12" craftsman bandsaw, I installed these tires. They are extremely snug on the aluminum wheels, which is exactly what you want. Installation is a little difficult, but not impossible, due to the tight fit. I've only had them for about a month, so I'm not sure how long they'll last, but I'm confident that they'll be well worth the money, as the performance of my once "dead" bandsaw has improved dramatically since I installed these new tires. I'm very happy with this product and would highly recommend it.

Worked as expected, but was a little challenging to set up

These performed as expected and were only moderately difficult to install, as the title suggests. They're band saw tires, and they either work or don't work - These are perfectly functional, and installation was not nearly as difficult as I had anticipated. After removing the old tires, all I did was stretch the new tires with my knee inside them and then pull them onto the wheels one by one. No hot water, no wheel removal, nothing. In total, it took me about ten minutes to get up and running. These are unquestionably excellent.

They're better than the originals

This product outperforms the originals, but it's a nightmare to set up. I don't think they can be installed without removing the saw's wheels, so it'll be a two-man job with a lot of hot water to soften the product.

I replaced my belt when it broke, but after doing so, I discovered that the bands were also dry rotted. I found these online, ordered them, and they arrived quickly, allowing me to replace them and get my saw back up and running.

I didn't know what it was called, but I knew my grandfather's bandsaw wheels needed some sort of rubber. I placed my order after determining the size. When it arrived, I read the instructions for installing it on the wheels, and it wasn't too difficult. It's now flawless.

Let's face it, we don't have a lot of time on our hands It's a stretching exercise to replace bandsaw tires! These tires are orange polymer and are the right size for my 12" Craftsman bandsaw. They behave as expected after installation and there are no issues.
