Trunnions with a radius of 50mm have been used
5/5

I bought these trunnions for my Steel City Bandsaw because they were the only ones available. The radius of these trunnions is 50 mm. The trunnions on my saw are 75 millimeters long. In images 1 and 2, you can see the difference. If yours are 50mm, these will fit perfectly, and you will not need to continue reading. br>br>If yours are similar to mine, you'll notice that I had to fill in the gap caused by the difference in radius. I drew a diagram of the differences and slid the 50mm radius down to a minimum thickness of 1/4'. Then there was the matter of locating the appropriate material. The inside diameter of a 4" pvc fitting was found to be just right. I purchased a street 45, which has both a female and male side, and I cut the ends to 1-inch lengths. 1/4" of glue was used to join the male and female together. As a result, I was able to use a thick piece of PVC as stock. This fitting cost around $7, so it was a good deal. br>br>After that, I cut out the template and glued it to a piece of hard board, then cut a 4" round out of a 2x6 and screwed it to the back of the template. I then used a piloted router bit to route the PVC to the template. A disk sander could be used as well. br>br>The shim is in place in the last photo. To have a flat mounting surface on my granite table, I needed to add 5/16" stock.

It fits, but the original nuts will need to be filed or sanded to make them work
4/5

It will fit a 1956 CM band saw. To get the nuts that go inside the trunnion to fit properly and move smoothly, I had to file them down a bit. The attachment holes were a little "unfinished" and still had some over pour flashing from the mold on them, but they were beefier than the original parts, which was nice. As a result of this, the star has been taken away. It is preferable to buy a new saw if you are satisfied with the product. If you've come this far, you've most likely gorilla-manned the table while also moving your saw. Don't make the same mistake twice.

Better than the original! After breaking the original set on my Delta 28-inch, I decided to buy these
5/5

Bandsaw No. 276 These were about a third of the cost of other replacement parts I found online, and they arrived in a timely manner. The quality is far superior to the originals in every way. What a fantastic find. I'm glad I checked Amazon first before wasting $100 on other websites.

However, everything functions flawlessly
5/5

They work well as a substitute. These are a lot tougher than the original. These were almost a perfect match for my 14" band saw (a Mod. No. WBS- 14M is one of a number of clone models based on the "classic" 14-year-old 14-year-old 14-year-old 14-year-old 14-year-old 14-year-old 14 band saw design in inches) I had to slightly widen one of the trunnions' holes to align it with the bolt hole pattern on my band saw's table, but otherwise everything works perfectly. They work well as a substitute. These trunnions are more durable than the originals, which appeared to be zinc castings. Remember to only lightly finger-adjust your trunnions to achieve the desired cut angle. They'll last for years if you tighten them up. They don't need to be "gorilla gripped" if you don't want to. They're only going to splinter! It's perfectly acceptable to use a light touch.

PERFECT FIT FOR MY RELIANT EE166 16" BAND SAW! My Reliant EE166 16" bandsaw was saved from becoming a big, heavy paperweight thanks to these! I wasn't sure if they'd fit because no one had tried them before, and they're advertised as being for a 14" bandsaw
5/5

So I bought them on the spur of the moment. Wala! THEY FIT PERFECTLY AND ARE A LITTLE THICKER THAN THE ORIGINAL. The ONLY issue I had, and it was a minor one, was that the "shoe" that holds the tightening bolt was a smidge too "wide" due to the new trunion's thickness. So, I just rubbed the sides of it against the belt sander, and it fit perfectly! I couldn't be more pleased!.

MANY TIMES BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL PARTS! These are the right size for my Delta 28
5/5

206 is the perfect number. In fact, the holes are a tad too big. It was the right size and allowed me to square the table to the blade better than before. It would be an understatement to say that the castings themselves are more durable. I'm amazed that a company with a reputation to uphold would use such shoddy parts on a high-priced, ostensibly durable power tool. I would, however, recommend adding washers to the cap screws that secure the trunnions to the table's bottom. When (not if) your trunnions decompose, don't replace them with factory parts - instead, make your own. Simply purchase them!.

Replacement trunnions for trunnions that have failed
5/5

Allowing others to use your saw should be done with caution! After a little fidgeting, they worked perfectly. The inside sliding nut, which is curved to allow you to adjust the table to different angles, wouldn't fit inside the casting at first, so I had to grind the sides down a little. Slowly reduce the speed until the car is barely gliding along the curve. But after that, there were no issues. This piece, in my opinion, would be better milled out of a solid piece of steel rather than pot metal, as is the case with the originals. However, it appears that all Delta type saws use it, so perhaps there is a reason for it?.

There was no need for filing or alterations because the fit was perfect
4/5

The degree scale is not included with these trunnions. On my Taiwan Mastercraft SSW-100, trunnions were installed at the factory. The thickness of the 140 saw's wall was. The wall thickness of the Accura replacement trunnions is 060. 090 from a % comparison point of view they should be substantially stronger. The new castings have a thicker lip on the underside than the actual wall of the trunnion, giving it the appearance of being much thicker than it is, and certainly not the 20 to 30 times mentioned in another review. Cast from the same material as the original, the fit was perfect and no filing or modifications were required.
