Product Description

When it comes to ensuring the quality of your work, selecting the right equipment is vital. As with other power tools, it is equally important to choose the right parts and accessories to make your band saw run as smoothly and efficiently as possible. It doesn't matter whether you are a carpenter, a contractor, or even a skilled craftsman, you need your band saw to run smoothly and efficiently.
Compared to rubber or plastic replacement tires, urethane band saw tires provide many advantages over their rubber or plastic counterparts, such as improved performance and safety. In most cases, rubber band saw tires and plastic band saw tires will not outlast urethane band saw It is unlikely that rubber or plastic tires will dry rot as they do with rubber band saw
Compared with other types of band saw tires, this alone provides a great value. Urethane tires also benefit from not requiring adhesive to install properly, a significant advantage over rubber tires. There is no adhesive needed with urethane tires as they can be stretched to fit and stay in place without the use of any tools.
The tire is so easy to install and to remove that if necessary, the tires can be removed just as easily.
It is 095′′. Made in the USA, they mount on any 9′′ band saw that requires a 1/2′′ wide and 3/32′′ thick tire. They can be mounted on any band saw that can accommodate a 1/2′′ wide and 3/32′′ thick tire.

Questions & Answers

This style will fit model # 137 in the craftsman 9" range. Is *214130?

It's hard to recall my model number at the moment, but I have a craftsman 9" band saw and I bought these and they really work well. To install the tire, I just used a spring clamp to hold it on the wheel and stretched it out a bit by hand. Taking care of it is easy.

Is this band saw compatible with a Craftsman 9"table top band saw?

I was able to fit the saw into my 9" workbench. There is a lot of stretching you need to do to get on so at first, it might not seem to fit.

Is it okay if I use these tires? For a plastic saw, I hate having to pay $42 for one tire. ?

Two tires were purchased for my Delta 9" band saw, and they worked with no problem. Although they are very tricky to install, they are very effective. So far, I haven't run into any

Skill 3386 Table Top Bandsaw should not be used
3/5

In the past, (different diameter), I have had great success with this product. This is a superior quality rubber tire compared to those used in standard bandsaws. In the end, I tried it on my Skill table top bandsaw, but it did not work. In the middle of the two wheel's outer diameter, there is a ridge used by the tires that come with the saw as a guide A groove surrounds the rubber tires to prevent the tires from wobbling.
I think another option would be to remove the two wheels, and grind the center guide entirely off, but I think it is easier for now to chalk this one up to experience and go shop for
I just rated the item 3 stars because it still is of good quality however, I wanted to make sure others don't make the same error.

The old rubber was cracked and dried out
3/5

After waiting for the rubber band to become more pliable, I started to stretch it a little, but it was not like rubber band but tight instead. When you stretch the rubber, the colors turn pink and the surface becomes dusty. Parts of the bands began to show small cracks, and this is without trying to put the wheel on. of the pieces broke, and waited for the other to warm up with more hot water before cracking and breaking. -Even after I tried to place it on the wheels, I couldn't get it to work. -Old rubber had no flexibility.

A quality product is a good product
5/5

The quality appears good, so hopefully they will last for a long time. You just wrap a few inches around one section, and then wrap another few inches on either side, and then stretch the other half over without any fuss. It took me a minute to accomplish this task on both. You can seat it fully after stretching it by rolling it across a table while pressing down so that it slots into the channel smoothly.

The item fits Delta's BS100 band saw perfectly and works great
5/5

Removing the wheels (spring clip) and placing the wheel on the ground, then looping the band around the top, should allow installation. When you're holding both band ends into both hands, press down (since your weight is on the band so it will stretch) and work them slightly around the tire with both hands at the same time. This will make them fit true and perform well.

On my Craftsman 9" bandsaw, it fits like a glove and works like a dream
5/5

Today I decided to replace my black rubber tires with these orange racing stripes, and what a difference it makes! As stated on the package, I followed the instructions exactly, and the socks fit like a glove without any cutting or trimming. The 214590) have an index value between 0 and 1. The number 475 and the number The number 481. These belts are specified as 1/2", which of course equates to It is "500". As I measure the belt with my digital caliper, I set it As part of the preparation, I took a few minutes to wipe each wheel clean of any residue from the old tires. I then gently stretched the belts with my hands, and I was surprised at how tight they felt. I then flipped the wheel upside down in my vice, and clamped down gently on the hub with my vice. I then applied the belt weld in the groove opposite me and worked it on both sides onto the wheel using both my hands – this left me with a smooth profile. Aside from my own tools, I did not need any extras. I slid my thumb around the edge and pushed it down into the groove where it remained once I put it on. It stuck out around the edge so I ran my thumb around it to make sure it remained in place. I installed the wheels into the saw followed by the blade, and then rinsed and repeated the process on the other wheel. To be honest, it has never run so smoothly or efficiently. Due to the fact that it ran so rough and with so much vibration, I was contemplating selling it and getting a new one. Since it had been like that since I bought it 15 years ago, I had no idea it was the old tires. Sulpher Grove, thanks for your support! The review was not paid for or prompted by the company). Thanks to reviewer Thomas Maretzki for bringing up the possibility that the tires would thin out as they were stretched.

The man band keeps on rocking! bands, and they are likely to last at least until the saw is replaced
5/5

This second one was installed the same way as the first, This is not something that can be done easily. A urethane ball can last a lifetime since they are very strong and do not stretch easily. It might seem like you need three hands just to fit a bicycle tire over a tight rim, but really it is similar to a bicycle tire installation. There is a way to do it. I wish you the best of.

As far as the replacement part is concerned, it has performed well
5/5

This gets a high rating for keeping my Delta bandsaw in good working order. It is not getting a good rating from the OEM company (Delta). We sent them an email about four days ago, but we have yet to hear back. You can find some information on YouTube. It's possible to stretch tires onto wheels without removing them from the machine. Make sure you select a saw that's the right size for your wheels, not the one that matches your throat.
