It was the first time I used a small pilot router bit. My bandsaw scroll projects looked really good with a roundover from this tool. There was only this bit to it. This brass pilot is bonded to the bit, thus it does not spin when the drill bit is turned. There were no burn marks on the This is a highly recommended book.
It was a shallow area and I needed a 1/8" round over. Because the bit did not have a ball bearing pilot, it was much more compact and fit the job more efficiently. In tight radius corners, the smaller diameter will work well, since you don't need to round off in tight radius. Because the overall diameter is smaller in comparison to a typical 1/8" bit, it feeds slower than a ball bearing pilot. Not a replacement for a ball bearing pilot, but an excellent.
A great router bit can be found at Whiteside There was no exception to this.
I absolutely must have this.
Before bit becomes dull, brass bearing undergoes a loosening process. Does not last as long as the competition and costs more.
