Pads that are used to prepare metal for die grinding. are great for cleaning surfaces where it's important to get rust off (replacing the front hub bearings on a truck, for example, and removing years of rust from the mating surfaces) or for getting into places where an angle grinder won't reach. Only one thing that could have been better is if a backing pad were included with the box, but that's not a deal breaker.
Discs like these are one of my favorite tools for finishing, cleaning, and smoothing metal. A beautiful smooth surface will be left while these do not leave a grinding wheel mark. Cleaning old sealant and gasket material and removing old mating surfaces is easy with this tool. They remove metal from mating surfaces, but they are also designed to damage your mating surfaces if you are too aggressive. I really like this product and will be using it in the future!.

A FEW MONTHS AGO, I ORDERED FROM AMAZON FOR THE FOURTH TIME. I think it is a good product.
They are three and a half millimeters thick Hopefully, they will hold up after a few more uses. I'll update my review after more than a few use them.
