I'm not sure who makes them. br>Quality is excellent. Hundreds of them have been used. Without a guard, it's extremely dangerous.
When it comes to cutting, they do an excellent job.
Even in the pictures, it says 20000 rpm on the front of the wheels.
Yes, if there is enough clearance on the arbor and the speed is just right.

I expected these to wear out quickly for the price, but I'm pleasantly surprised that they last much longer than DeWalt. I've never had one shatter on me, and I've gone through about ten of them. I'll definitely buy these again if I can find them. Update: I finally got a good pinched one, but it didn't shatter. Simply put, this wheel broke in a circle around the metel ring. This is the first cutoff wheel I've pinched in this manner that hasn't broken. I'm quite taken aback.
I bought these despite my better judgment because I'm like a zombie who has to have it when I see a good deal. br>I paid $22 for them. After reading so many good reviews, I decided to buy it for 99 dollars. However, because they cut 5/8" rebar slowly, that's where it ends. br>It's possible that comparing this to Diablo DBD045040101F isn't a fair comparison, but combining this with Skil 9295- In comparison to Diablo's cheap Harbor Freight 60625 by Drill Master, it took twice as long to cut. It might work well with softer materials such as pvc or thin metal. The disc is stiff and strong, but there appears to be insufficient metal mesh, as I can rub my hand around the edge without getting scratched after ten cuts. Will I repurchase these? No, I doubt it. Regardless of how positive the reviews are, I would probably avoid no-name brands. br>I'm thinking of sticking with Diablo or Makita D-. The Dewalt DW8062 or the Dewalt 20105. br>These discs' rated thickness is "nominal," according to my caliper. 0495".
If my memory serves me correctly, I paid around thirty dollars for a box of fifty of these bad boys. I keep them in a handy-dandy place in my house. spin them at a billion RPM with no safety guards (they get in the way) on a handy right angle grinder Because these cutoff wheels are so hardcore, I only chopped up one finger once and they didn't even notice. I also have a 16" friction chop saw, but these are much thinner and cut much better, so I prefer them; just keep your fingers away from them. It's a testament that none of them have exploded yet.
When it comes to some things, you get what you pay for. In this case, I didn't even understand what you were saying. I just threw away 35 of these that had never been used. Due to normal cutting disc wear, none of the 15 that I used had to be replaced. Instead, they all failed with a spectacular burst of shrapnel around halfway through the disc. If you've ever wanted to cut steel with a cutting disc that clearly identifies itself as a claymore, this is the product for you.
I've gone through about 200 of these cutting discs in the shop and on the job. I cut mild steel about a third of the time and oilfield tubing the rest of the time, because oilfield tubing is a tougher steel. I've tried a lot of different domestic and imported discs, and these are just as good as any of them. My cattle handling corral and loading chute were recently relocated, remodeled, and reinstalled. Mild steel and oilfield tubing were used to construct the gates. Years ago, I switched from a cutting torch to these discs, which sped up the process and improved saddle fitting on pipe. I also used these discs to make this sliding gate.
5 wheel. I was astounded because I had bought Dewalt and several other brands, as well as a $19 diamond blade that had worn out and couldn't complete the cut. I used my chop saw to cut the 24 inch piece into 6 inch squares after I cut it off. With my 14" Hercules blade from Harbor Freight, I made one cut that was fine, but the second cut only cut about half of the way until it couldn't cut any longer. I applied a lot of downward pressure, but it wouldn't cut; I flipped it over, but still couldn't get the whole piece cut, and the blade appeared to be full size; I guess it wore an inch offa. I didn't take any measurements because I didn't want to be caught off guard. There was no other option for completing the cut but to use these four. Wheels of 5 inches I was a little worried, but it cut right through it. I wish I had known about these blades sooner because I had already spent a significant amount of money on blades. This was actually my final attempt at this project because I had invested so much time and money into it. I also had the option of having it cut at a welding or machine shop. Although I did not time the cut, it did not appear to be excessively long. I was able to track my progress as I went along. The other blades received sparks, but there was no indication that they were making any progress. For 7/16" x 24" of steel, I'd guess 15 minutes or less. Because of all of the positive feedback, I'm hoping they don't raise the price.
The first day I took them to work, I used four or five wheels. I can't tell the difference between these and the hilti wheels that my boss spends a small fortune on. They were put to use in a Makita cordless grinder. They've been used on 20 and 18 gauge metal studs, as well as some welded door frame spreaders. On the spreader, one chipped, but it was pinched, as is common. br>br>It's a no-brainer for the price.
Quite a bit. I really wanted to like these based on the other reviews and the low price per disc, but I'm afraid I don't. These were tasked with removing both the donor panel and the rusty panel from the bed of my 93 Ford, which I recently tackled using a Dewalt angle grinder. They would frequently bind and explode while cutting through the 18g sheet metal. Fortunately, I was wearing the guard, so no shrapnel hit me, but pieces were found more than 30 feet away from my work area. A higher-quality disc is strongly recommended.
