Aluminum is generally easy to block because of its low melting point, but it can also cut up to 15 knives.
The cutting discs are reinforced with a double glass fiber mesh, which adds to the durability.
I use it to cut the chimney, but then I have to re-cut the chimney. After cutting, there are only a few burrs to weld.

These turned out to be surprisingly tasty. For the price, I wasn't expecting much, but they're light and sturdy. In the last few days, I've gone through 6 or 7 of them, and I've been pretty rough on them. Unlike cheaper cutoff discs, none of them broke, chipped, or became brittle. Whatever Chinese magic was used in the creation of these discs has proven to be effective.
I've tried a lot of different brands, and these are hands down the best. At a low cost, you can get a high-quality product. I'm always compelled to put things through their paces in order to see how long they can last. With these, you can actually do a lot of lateral grinding. I was blown away.
I thought these were great for the price, but when a friend came over to help me build a fence, he remarked on how well they worked in comparison to whatever he had bought. I thought they were decent, but they turned out to be even more durable than I had anticipated. I use them in a makita right angle grinder that is cordless. During the process of cutting saddles for pipe fence, I have not broken a single one.
This week was the first time I used these discs. This set of discs is terrifying. On one project alone, I've seen three people fall off the wagon and take off. I won't be buying anything else.
These cut off wheels are decent, but they seem to wear out quickly when cutting 3/8 inch rebar. However, they are better than the ones I ordered from another company that simply refused to cut some, and using them was very difficult on the equipment. However, I would recommend this brand to my friends or family.
I was compelled to purchase this disc due to its low price. But now, not only is the price valuable, but it also meets the expectations of any individual. 5 stars instead of 4 So far, everything has gone well. I haven't had much experience with them, but they cut well, last well, and the arber seams seem to hold up well (I've had some that didn't). No problem with 1/4" steal, no problem with tin, and no problem with solid say together not breaking away from fiberglass webing.
I ordered them with the expectation of using them up quickly, similar to the cheap Harbor Freight ones. I'd recommend these discs to anyone who cuts steel because they cut well and last a long time.
