It was no longer usable after that because it was out of balance, and there were sand paper shards all over the place to clean up. The sand paper is folded over and much more durable on the Blackstone Brand sanding flap disc. So far, my experience with the Blackstone disc has been that it wears down but still works, albeit at a lower grit. These wear out much faster; I estimate that 20 of these would last the same amount of time as one Blackstone flap sanding disc. br>If you don't mind changing discs, the price is reasonable for the quantity of discs you receive. I wouldn't buy these again if I had the option.

I went to several different hardware stores in search of ONE of these, but I was unable to locate any. Then I couldn't believe my eyes when I discovered Amazon had a full-fledged variety pack. These were exactly what I needed after attempting to piece together an edge sander with various hardware store tools. It felt a lot less stressful to spend a lot of money on a grit only to discover I needed a different one later; instead, I had options, and I have extra for future projects. I would purchase this item again. When you're in a hurry, this is a great option that's well worth the money. Next, I'm going to try their zirconia model flaps to see if I can get some more use out of them. The only drawback is the limited amount of use they provide. They get right to the point, but for the price, I can't really complain.

br>They don't last as long as name brands like Norton, Sait, and others, but they still get the job done. br>br>At just over $1 each, I'll keep buying these instead of spending $5-$10 on a pair of shoes. On name brands, they're $6 each. br>They're still a lot cheaper than Harbor Freight, even when they're on sale, and they're of similar quality. br>br>It's much more convenient and less expensive for me to order a bulk pack from Amazon than to drive 20 minutes to my nearest Harbor Freight. br>br>The mixed grit pack is very useful, as it allows me to switch from heavy sanding/grinding to lighter work.

These discs do a good job of doing what they're supposed to do, but they seem to wear out a little faster than others I've used; however, for the price, they're a good deal. When I need more, I'll order them again.

I just finished cleaning up the welds on a 7'x 5' gate with 1 1/2 square tubing and door lock boxes. and still have the ability to do more for a buck! A big thumbs up. Shipping is very quick.

For the money, it's a good deal. Today I was able to put these flap disks to use. I was grinding some parts of a fabrication I'm working on. Because other parts will be welded to them, there are some areas where the welds must be flat. These disks are as good as any I've used before. They appear to last a long time and do a good job of smoothing out the weld. I like the variety of grits as well. These disks are excellent, and I would purchase them again.

Specifications for a 5" grinder That is, I had to put in a lot of effort just to get them to fit on the machine. br>THESE disks are manufactured to exact specifications. , They appear to be of good quality, and I expect them to last; I can't say much more because I've only recently received them, but I'm very pleased with the low price, the apparent quality, and the fact that they arrived a day ahead of schedule. br>I'll give you an update on performance later.
